Aesir Arabians

Show * Endurance * Pleasure ...Naturally

Meet some of the people who - whether they know it or not - have meant so much to me in one way or another...

John, Barb, and Jacquie from Kanandah Arabians, FNQ - where on earth would I have been without these fantastic people?!

Kerry Mackay  - Sundown Park ...Kerry got me back into endurance riding after a rather long break. Are you trying to kill me??! Thanks for the opportunity to experience this great sport again on your lovely horse who kindly carried me the full distance!

The very talented Yvonne Lucas (a.k.a. The Herbie Lady) pictured with Aesir Chamonix. A brilliant handler, horse rescuer, equine herbalist, and equine therapist (have a look at www.theherbielady.com ). This lady has so much to teach - a valued friend indeed!                                                                                                                                                        In the background, Betty Waite - everyone in the world needs a friend like Betty.

Joe Azzopardi from Stockton Park, and one of his stunning purebred fillies at the Pan Pacific Championships, 2007. We were in a winning endurance team together back in 1984, and hadn't seen each other again until the Pan Pacs.

Shannon Saunders & 'Psyrina'  (Flash) of Shanlewen Arabians, Hay Point....  and her fab parents Lester & Wendy (below) who have the most amazing ability to make newcomers to showing feel very welcome and relaxed.

       Jess

The delicious Anglo filly, "Poppy", owned by my lovely friend who has been very helpful with her ongoing knowledge and advice (she's an encyclopedia of bloodlines!), Jess Wilson. And I'm kidnapping this horse!!

Cheeky, friendly, gorgeous colt... Nizai, owned by Yvonne Barlow of Natham Park Arabians, Kurwongbah. Thanks a bunch for your friendship and support, Yvonne!                                            Yvonne at TOTR 2006

A wealth of knowledge on showing and the breed in general, and very helpful in so many ways, Wayne & Jody of Global Equine Marketing.

Beautiful purebred filly, Jaraileb Ella Royale, bred by  Paul and Keri Lockwood of Jaraileb Arabians, Bororen - another up-and-coming local stud, and good friends! Ella was sadly laid to rest August 2007 following a freak paddock accident. May her spirit live forever.

Keri

John Chatterton is without a doubt one of the most remarkable horse trainers I have met. His techniques are the most horse-friendly ever, and they get brilliant results. I still need to learn so much more from this man. Pictured here with Carita's Sherbert, MHAA reg. miniature horse  stallion owned by my very good friend, Cheryl Potter, of Schazaars Magic Miniatures, also of  Captain Creek.

And of course, there's Terry and the gang from Agnes Water Express who deliver my feed for me on time every time with a smile and a joke.
