Wildlife Studies
This course studies Wildlife management, Hunter Safety, Hunting, Fishing, and Survival.
Fishing: Students wil learn how to fly fish, cast a fly rod, tie the major fly fishing, knots and go on a fishing field trip. Fish identification and fishing techniques will help student become accomplished anglers.Tackle crafting allows the students to tie several major fly patterns as well as create there own spinners.
Hunter safety: As a certified Hunter safety instructor students will be taught about the sport of hunting with a major portion of the section dealing with wildlife management, eccology and firearm safety.
Eccology: Students will learn about their role in the concervation of our natural recourses.
Lab Fee: A Lab Fee of $15 is required to pay for the Field Trip as well as the Tackel Crafting Materials.
