VOUGHT F6U-1 PIRATE

First jet aircraft to be designed and built by Vought Aircraft, it is one of the very first generation US Navy jet fighters, among North American FJ-1 Fury and Mc Donell FD-1 Phantom, all operated in experimental units. The F6U was fitted with the smallest engine (Westinghouse J-34) and an afterburner, and had poor performance despite good flying qualities. The Pavla Models kit is typical eastern europe stuff (multimaterial) and can lead to a beautiful model. The Propagteam decals are very thin and very sticky.
