Since I started collecting baseball cards in 1985, most of my trade stock actually comes from 1985 through maybe 1992ish. Although I do have alot of 1981 Topps and Fleer too. I have more for some brands and years than for others. Picking out what you need from these cards may take me a bit longer since they are scattered around in numerous boxes which are sometimes not in numerical order (if I never have put together a hand collated set from them for instance). If you start talking inserts, GU, refractors, etc. my eyes will probably glaze over and I'll pass out. I got out of the new cards before all of that stuff became hugely popular and since I don't collect those sets, I am likely to not have any of them to trade either.
Anyways, here is a list of brands and sets that I should have at least some trade stock from. I know most of the 80s and early 90s stuff isn't worth squat anymore, but I'm sure there's a few people out there still looking to complete sets by hand. Let me know if you want to trade.
Topps: 280 (Gaylord Perry, creased)
 Topps, Fleer
-1983: Very limited amounts of Fleer, Topps, and Donruss
 Donruss (including a starter set)
Topps, Fleer, Donruss (multiple '85 Donruss starter sets available)
 Topps, Fleer, Donruss
 Topps, Donruss, Fleer
 Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score
Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score, Upper Deck, Bowman,
Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score, Upper Deck, Leaf, Bowman
Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score, Upper Deck, Bowman
 Topps, Donruss, Fleer
 Donruss
 Donruss
***UPDATE 4-25-08*** I received the lots of 1984 and 1985 Donruss. I have started sets for myself for both of those years. I am down to only needing 4 cards in the '85 Donruss set and need maybe 10% of the '84 Donruss set. In addition, as I was making up the '84 Donruss set, I pulled dupes to put together a second starter set. I also have a couple hundred other '84 Donruss to help fill wantlists. For the '85 Donruss, I was able to make a nearly complete set. I have tons of '85 Donruss left over (there were 3900 cards in the lot originally) including some stars. I DO NOT HAVE the Clemens or Puckett RC's from '85 though. Similarly, I DO NOT HAVE the Mattingly RC, Strawberry RC, and several other key cards from the '84 set to trade (they had already been pulled from the lots when I received them). Please contact me if you're interested in a starter set or a trade. Thanks! ---Donny
