There are five main elements, Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, and Spirit. All the elements are connected by strengths and by support.

These are the strengths

These are supports. They move in a COUNTER-clockwise direction.
Fire:
Fire is divided into two types: Fire1 and Fire2.
~Those aligned with Fire1 tend to be brash, cruel, and hard-headed. Fire1 is an offense-class element, meaning the techniques used are mainly for attack. Being as such, users of Fire1 cannot handle defensive techniques.
~Those aligned with Fire2 usually have a warm, cheerful disposition. They are often bright, and almost perky. The users of Fire2 are the almost exact opposites of Fire1. They are defensive, and have no true weakness.
--Those of Fire are ruled by the Archangel MICHAEL.
Earth:
People with strong magic lean towards the element Earth. They are
hard-working, calm, stubborn, and 'down-to-earth.' Because of this
solid and steadfast style of theirs, they are best at defensive-class
techniques; unfortunately, this leaves them with the inability to
attack.
--Those of Earth are ruled by the Archangel URIEL.
Wind:
Wind attributes are kind, ever-changing, and helpful; however, they
have terrible tempers that, once woken, are hard to console. Their
attitude allows them to easily understand magic that enhances their
abilities. They have a weakness for offense-class techniques.
--Those of Wind are ruled by the Archangel RAPHAEL.
Water:
Those aligned with
Water are often calm, caring, and dangerous underneath a mask of
optimism. Users of Water are skilled healers, but have trouble grasping defensive magic.
--Those of Water are ruled by the Archangel GABRIEL.
Spirit:
The rare element, Spirit,
are well-rounded in every aspect of defensive and offensive-class
techniques. Spirit is rarely, or never, found by itself; those who have
this ability usually have another element attached as well. Their
personalities are random, and differ tremendously.
Subelements:
Most elements have other little affinities that are part of the main
group. These have nothing to do wth the pentacle of elements, but are
similar to an 'added bonus' of being in a particular element.
Spirit: Shadow, Light
Fire: Ash
Water: Ice, Steam
Earth: Plant, Stone
Wind: Electricity, Air
