Adf's budgie page

Dear visitors, welcome to my personal web site which is devoted to my budgies and to budgies generally. You will find here something about a history of my feathered friends and perhaps some useful advices if you want to start breeding or keeping of there amazing parrots (budgie, budgerigar, parakeet - Melopsittacus undulatus). This web site does not contain usually written advices – how to tame a budgie etc. which you can find on the many others web sites by many authors. I will target the healthy budgie diet especially as I think the healthy varied diet is fundamental presumption of healthy keeping or breeding without any problems. Nevertheless I have to emphasize, this web site is instrumental to presentation of my feathered friends.

Forgive my web pages format mistakes, mistaken or broken references etc. because I am not experienced in HTML code programming and I am just making the pages. Therefore it acts about – let us say – about semi-finished product. I assume the finishing of the full working version of these pages till the first half of this year (2008). The development of these pages has started on the 7th of February 2008 as a totally ignorant of HTML and CSS code. Therefore do not find any traces of semantic in my code and any smart programming structures. For the time being I am creating these pages with the system or method trial – mistake. Therefore an optimal code is unknown thing for me so far.

Subsequently all pages will be translated into English language as well to be intelligible to my colleagues from abroad. The chapter “Cookery book for budgie nourishment” will be written in English language firstly and it will be translated into Czech step by step. What is the reason? I originally made Cookery book for my friends in UK directly in English language and I do not have any Czech translation to my disposal so far.

As I premised the web site has been created manually with HTML code and with using of CSS styles. I used shareware product – structural editor PSPad version 4.5.3. as development system. Originally I wanted use some WYSIWYG editor but I was not able to achieve demanded results with a help of these automatic tools (I cannot work with it properly probably).
