Thanks to all that attended Septembers meeting.
Thank You Cindy for all you did.
Cindy Niles did a terrific job in explaining feeds, fillers, hays quality and wormers.
There was a quiz on 14 different feeds and fillers, The one with the most guessed right were handed a sample of all natural eye wipe it is for itching, irritated and runny eyes in horses and can be used for dogs also. (everyone received a sample)
Cindy also had hay samples of different quality hay from what you should feed and what you shouldn't feed.
There were several samples of wormers and a very thorough explanation of what each does and for what worm. there were pictures of worms and what you should be looking for and also explained you can take a sample of your manure and have your area vet check and determine what wormer your horse needs by what kind of parasite is affecting your horse.
At the beginning Cindy had everyone put there name on a piece of paper and put it in a bag, then at the end Cindy drew names for door prizes.

Octobers Meeting:
Thank you all that attended
We discussed yearly membership fee's and electing officers and decided there will be neither. Whatever we need we will just work as a whole.
Cindy and Denise had some amazing stories of trips they had taken in the past and we discussed trips of the future and topics for future meetings.
I have to apologize for this being posted so late and being so short but this time of year is busy for us all and I am no exception, I have had numerous calls on lame horses, Please keep an eye on those feet with our wet conditions abscesses are almost inevitable. Some you won't see and others are causing a big problem.
Take Care, see you at the next meeting , Liza
Novembers Meeting :
Saddles were set up and Again Cindy from Winthrup Agway donated the cleaner and conditioner from Farnam. Truly Amazing what it did for a 30 plus year old Saddle it actually put a nice shine on it that hasnt been there in many many years and made it much more ply.
I am not putting the name so you might want to go visit Cindy and see what it was :)
Thank you Kim and Karly for cleaning and conditioning my other saddle. Now I just can't wait for the weather to clear up so we can all start riding :)
We were supplied with some informative material on tack conditions and vitamins and minerals, anatomy of a horse that I will copy and hand out at the next meeting.
Everyone have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season....See you in January, Liza
Special Thanks To Scott Loomis and Family for holding our First Meeting of the New Year.
Scott did a great showing of the Reining world far different from what most of us are used to. He not only spoke on the importance of grooming and care of our tack but we were also able to watch him ride and explain in great detail the amount of training, care, long hours, loads of travel and great expense that goes into getting these horses ready for the shows. I cant put into words what we were all able to experience by viewing and listening to Scott. You are greatly appreciated by all of us that attended.
After Scott was done we were all invited in for Coffee, hot chocolate, cider and cookies and a Very warm home where we viewed videos of Scott and astounded by the amount of awards that were placed throughout the home. Not only will you view awards of Scotts but he has a son that is walking in his foot steps with his own awards right next to his fathers so he is another to watch for in the future.
Again I will say Many Many Thanks To The Loomis Family for all their hospitality and to all members that showed and joined right in with the questions and total participation.
I have to apologize for that fact that a lot of the pictures did not come out clear enough to post on here and some that I will post are fuzzy but it gives you an idea of the meeting. I hated to delete any of them but only I would know what they were. SORRY
I will try later to sharpen these a bit. Liza

February :) Thank You to All that helped with the Parade !!!
