Jorge Riveron is a choreographer and ballet master, and has had a distinguished Cuban career as a soloist with the Ballet Alicia Alonso. His wide-ranged reetoire encompasses many classical roles, which he has performed around the world, including a 1981 appearance as Wilfred in Giselle with Rudolph Muteyev and Eva Evdokimova. In additionn to performing, Mr. Riveron has staged a number of ballets, including a recent production of Giselle with Gelsey Kirkland. He is also a contributor to Scribner`s New Encyclopedia of Dance and Salsa Teacher for Teatro IATI.
