Welcome to Recipepalooza:

a collection of recipes of my own, recipes from various message boards across the internet, and modified recipes from cookbooks and magazines. Most of these recipes are suited to the Weight Watchers Core program, though some use small amounts of non-core ingredients. I hope these recipes will help you follow a healthy diet.

If you are not on Weight Watchers or Core, you can still use these recipes as part of a healthy diet. By following the Core guidelines, these recipes are already low in "bad" fats, high in fiber and protein, and in most cases, made with unprocessed ingredients.

If you are interested in Core, I'd suggest contacting Weight Watchers for information. (www.weightwatchers.com) I can't share program details with you because I don't feel like getting in trouble, but as a general statement, Core allows you to eat healthy foods to satisfaction without having to track calories, fat grams, or points as you would on many other diets. I personally like it very much!

I've organized recipes by general categories. Within each category, I've organized recipes by the type of meat (or vegetarian) and have also divided recipes up into "with pasta" and "without pasta." I almost always eat my pasta serving for the day, so I find it helpful to be able to look for recipes without pasta.

I have not had time yet to try all the recipes listed on this site. The ones I have tried will be noted and I will give you my review based on this easy-to-interpret rating system:

  • Never again!
