So here I am, often overwhelmed by varied emotions, but the other side of me - the technician, the maker - takes over and makes a dish which at least tries to contain some of that emotion. No matter what, that side of me is ready to go to work on the materials of experience, braving the uncertainty of results. This is most probably not related to any earth-shattering past-life experiences or such gained here; but inspiration surely lurks within the con-tours of the canyons and anthills of Auroville !

The uncertainty of results is always thrilling (for me) in my work.., from the arbitrary combining of varied materials in unmeasured amounts for everything from coloured clay bodies and engobes, to slips and glazes. Abstraction in my work will always play with the convention of the vessel as a metaphor for the body, - the challenge is to see if the unorthodoxy, the naiveté and the risks show through....and ultimately balance within the softer focus of functional artistically."

Adil H. Barlas S/O Aqil H. Barlas (Scholar Translator for bostaan saadi of Idries Shah the great Author of London and cousin of Mr. Aqil barlas) Grandson of Late Nawab Qasim jan of Delhi on whose name gali qasim jan is there near ballimaran Old Delhi. Was born on 1st of July 1976 Did schooling from St. Columbus New Delhi Graduated from CCS University. Can Speak in Arabic Persian and french fluently Enrolled for CPL  worked till 2004 in dubai as Operation Manager Dubai Airport MMI Group.

As related to Sardhana Nawab Family from his father side Bibi Mehmooda begum daughter of Nawab syed Amjad Ali Shah of Sardhana Meerut and to Loharu Nawab family from his mother side is president of three Non profit organization such as EEDS LIVE and SHARE all these organizations are helping needy and handicapped people to get employment and better studies...

At the moment is with his mother and Wife and son Sultan lives in New Delhi............Been helpful in constructing Shah Hospital in Sardhana Meerut and is taking care of his fathers dream to build a College on his fathers great grand fathers name Agha Syed jan Fishan Khan of Paghman Afghanistan Jan Fishan College in Sardhana. Is member of many organizations working for human welfare for backward communities and is member of Indian heritage club
