About the Highly Recommended Page

Sometimes you won't come to know of the best stuff around unless someone tells you about it... and it's always most credible when someone recommends an actual experience, especially if it's someone you can trust, and someone whom you can witness for yourself the credibility of the experience (bcoz results always show on the experimented).

This page contains all the products and services, food & beverage I've recently come across that I think I want to share with all of my dearest frenz. (so that they can share in the good experiences and gain what I've gained) I'll also use this page to "flame" some places occasionally, especially if they make me real mad with their bad service attitude or cheat consumers with their products. So do look back here whenever you're free to see what new experiences I have to share, k?

Luv, hugs & kisses... AdeR

Have you visited Six Chancery Lane yet?

That's the name of Julie's shop, the place that solves the problem for my ultra sensitive skin, aka "Eckzemia" on my two arms.

I can't use most conventional rack soaps or bath products coz they sometimes make my skin feel either really dry or itchy. However, I think this condition is a blessing in disguise because it brought me into a natural world of soaps, made of essential oils and natural Glycerin, so that now bathing not only makes me smell great, make my skin feel good, but also make my whole bathroom smell great.

Lucky me, I have a dear friend who makes these soaps from home. So I've actually witnessed the whole process of the soap making to trust and vouch that the whole process is entirely natural, and the soap is extremely trustworthy... haha!

& now my friend's shop & workshop is finally ready, so you can buy these soaps too!!!

The soaps go on sale only once a month, and the shop specializes in hands-on letter press printing which you can preorder for a unique invitation card, personalized notecards or namecards. I've already ordered my own personalized set of notecards to be designed & printed by Julie Sung~

Here's the address to the shop in Hong Kong: C/F 6A Chancery Lane, Central, Hong Kong

Tel: (852) 2525 5005

visit www.sixchancerylane.com or email Julie at julie@sixchancerylane.com

If you're planning to give that someone special something really really special, no harm considering these hand made soaps & personalized cards.

When you're in Hong Kong, & around SOHO, do try and find the shop and pay her a visit. Quote my name for a surprise & complimentary cuppa tea/coffee...

Don't forget to post comments on this post if you want to share your experiences after trying out my recommendation!

My Cosmetics Recommendations

1) Sun Block - Definitely the Shiseido range... For those of you who are picky Anessa for face is perfect. For those on a lower budget, the recently released Super Morning Milk UV EX & Watery UV Gel SPF 21 PA++ is also available at your nearest JPNZ Combini~

2) Mascara - Majolica Wins Hands Down!! The latest range even comes in metallic brown & gold colors which are stunning!!!

3) Lipstick - I like the Kanebo KATE range; slim & compact in nice mixable colors

4) Rouge - The best & most popular in Japan is also my favourite: AUBE rouge is my preferred choice!

5) Eyeliner - Definitely the liquid pens... I use 2 kinds: Majolica (in 3-4 fav colors) & the old range of Kose VISEE liquid Eyeliners + Liquid eyeshadow in a range of colors

6) Make-up Remover - Jasmine's crazy over Shiseido's Perfect Remover (eye & lip); me? I use Shu Uemura's Skin Purifier in 4 colored oils; when travelling I use the makeup remover sheets from Biore or the peach wipes from Bello

7) Eyeshadow - I use KOSE's Luminous series (blue & gold silver/ pink & white silver Christmas 2006 series) & the VISEE liquid Eyeshadows, & will probably try the 2 latest eyeshadows plates I got from Japan: Shiseido's Maquillage (pink shades) & Kanebo's Coffret D'or (brown shades)

8) Hair Wax - Recently started using the Liese Clear Cube: I have 2 cubes, the red & the orangey yellow... both are great for soft styling!

9) Shampoo - I use my Keratase range & top it off with Keratase Dermo Calm Noctocalm & Keratase Specifique Activeur 7 for after wash night care.

10) Conditioner - My favourite is Shiseido SuperMild Series & Ichikami~ For occasional scalp home conditioning I use Nioxin Scalp Therapy (recommended by Jingmei's mum)

11) Toothpaste - I only use " tsubu shio", a salty toothpaste that is made from raw salt; recommended by Jean previously when we first visited Osaka together...

12) Nail polish - got to be O.P.I.!! The best invention ever is the Start to Finish top coat plus final finish which normally only comes in the gift travel sets on JAL dutyfree on the plane~
