Information on upcoming parent education workshops and services offered at Oak Park Moms and Tots
We would like to announce a new service that we are offering at Oak Park Moms and Tots. The Child Development Resource Centre provides resources, parent education and consultation services to families with children with learning differences. We assist with accessing support services for children and provide resources that families can use at home to support their child. We provide lending resources that stimulate learning for children that require additional support with fine motor skills, sensory processing issues, social skills and perceptual difficulties. We also have resources for youth on the topics of self esteem, bullying and eating disorders.
Feel free to stop by and ask about programs and services offered through the Child Development Resource Centre or email charlene@oakparkmomsandtots.ca for more information. This service is generously funded by the Community Foundation of Oakville.

This program assists parents with the development of skills to recognize the signs and symptoms of stress in children from preschool through nine years of age. Interactive group sessions provide parents with tools to help their children acquire stress reduction strategies. Effective communication techniques and coping strategies will be explored through a variety of toolbox activities which parents will be able to use in their home environments.
There is a $20 material fee for this workshop. Participants may attend both sessions.
This workshop is intended for parents and caregivers only.
