What's with the essays? This ain't school!!5/21/08
First off, I gotta say that these essays I'm reading are mostly from Zutarians. *sigh* It sucks that it has come to this. Anyway, I read the book and I don't see why they should be complaining. I mean at the end they get a nice little poster with Katara, Ozai, Zuko (in that order) in the upper part and a big Aang right in the middle. One big happy family. >:D
Even though the book is kinda chessy, there's some parts that actually would make sense for the final episodes. Whether the book is right or not, I believe that some of that stuff could happen but it's not 100% until I see it. *spoiler alert* The chapters are mostly in first person but I don't see Zuko being so cheerful in his thoughts. Him thinking 'Woohoo' for a group hug is not Zuko at all. Now I would love to see the lion-turtle scene in the book as an episode, Aang thought he was on an island but it was really a large lion-turtle (leo) that moved when he was sleep. Ah then getting advice from the past avatars is pretty awesome. Now Azula... wow... she was always confused and finally we get to see her crack. Banishing people from the fire nation and looking a big mess seems like the only thing she can do in the finale. lol Sucks for whoever has the username Azulalover69. lol ...and Katara kissing Aang? HA! I'm no Zutara fan nor Kataang fan but that's pretty funny to end the whole story like that. Oh and no one notice that Jun's name is June in the book? >:P
With all this Sozin Comet book drama, I believe that it's all up to Nick, Bryan, and Mike on what to do. They hold the power in all of this and we all know why. Whatever happens, happens. Suck it up and deal with it. Although they are slow with the whole episodes coming out process, they better repay us with some quality work, right? They'll make it a you-gotta-see-this-or-die event anyway. They'll hype it up for all the people with dail-up connections or those that aren't internet savvy. Personally, those who actually want to explain their little rants and negative feedback on the book, have no clue how dumb they look. Where's the positive in all of this? All I'm seeing is the negative.... at least we finally get something avatar...sheesh. lol Everyone wins, Nick gets book money and we get to go crazy over it. >:D
Anyway, I won't be doing R&R for those who wanted it. I decided that I won't do it today but if you feel like you have a site in mind, then *points to the cbox* speak ya mind right there. I don't see any worthy sites because everything didn't seem to change. I'm sure that Pon knows this. lol

...I'm stunned. And not in a good way.
Frankly, smooth move, Nick. I honestly smelled something like this epically proportioned spoiler. Leave it to some idiots behind the corporation to allow such a major leakage. Congratulations, lamers, you just ruined Avatar. :P
Seriously, who does that? As for Bryan and Mike, why would you do such a thing? In a sense, you've failed to keep us entertained. And whether this is legit, and I mean legit, what kind of thrill was that? I had more fun looking at unofficial Avatar crack. XP The ending was so terribly abrupt and just... just... stupid, no offense to the seat wetting Kataagers out there.
And to bring something ELSE up, in the back of the book, there's a Q and A with Bryan and Mike. Guess what? I've seen plenty of these responses before; in fact, a majority of them are word for word. Hmm...

Zutara fans unite... at Burger King!!! 5/20/08
Hello folks! I just gotta say that if you didn't already go check out here and here for spoilers. Hmm... Maybe you can go here too. Whether they are true.. that's up to you. Maybe this rant post will change your thinking. I didn't read beyond the first few lines. You know why? Cause they calmed down to say this. Why in the world do you try to explain your rant? It seems like this Kataang hater typed up all that for nothing. lol If you feel like you need to get all that crap off your chest, by all means share it to the world because it's honesty. Pure honesty. That's what we aim for here of course. >:P
So what is this book telling us? Is this book trying to throw us all off? Some say 'Oh that's the finale.' then some say 'Oh that's just another version.' and then you have those that think Nick is trying to make sure they get their ratings, money, and etc. Who knows what will happen besides Aang saving the world. For all we know, the comet could blow up the Avatar world.
Anyway, checking out the forums and in their spoiler threads, it made me realize how people are on forums. Maybe that's why I dislike some forums. Stuck-up and big-headed preteens/high schoolers that think they need some special treatment cause they think they know all avatar or been on the forum since it started. How about not sucking up to the admins, ok? It makes you look fake. lol
Moving on, I would like to point out a certain someone. I also checked out some graphic and fansites and noticed that Suki err... Michelle had her new cheesy layout! *claps* Good for you Michelle. I'm glad that you're talking a break. Maybe you can come back and actually code something different from your premade. Oh wait... why does the link say freewebs? *tisk* Someone actually gave you hosting and you have freewebs links. Care to explain? >:P

That's the question I'd like to know. With all this talk... where's the action? Hmm... maybe it's in here:

Seems as if I'll be seeing the finale before it actually airs! I was going to rant a little about this but seems as if Jade did it before me. lol Nick gives out Avatar as if it was an addictive drug and they kinda want to see how long you'll react before going crazy. lol You all think that I was mean in my posts? Ha! Nickelodeon is playing everybody that's mentally avatared (thanks Kairu for the line >:). But really, if anyone has the book... be nice and put it online? lol

Hey everyone. Glad Dazed is back? To be honest, I was too busy to even check this place, but surprised to see someone actually determined to push forward what I had started. To be clear, I didn't fail at anything; Yeah, I started something great, but got too busy, that's all. I got the community a little shaken and did a few things here and there, but I had (and still have) things to do first. I don't have to explain myself or give some lame excuse. In the end, it doesn't mean anything. Anyway, welcome Nate. I'm confident that you'll do good job. >:) As for this community, who knows what it'll become. I pretty much say that most of its fans are one of the following:
1. Super duper hardcore Avatar lovers extreme!
2. Somewhere between the average fan and crazy in love with ATLA.
3. Koi *farts*
Now, I believe that a lot of fans will get excited for this show again, but too bad Nick won't get much out of this. Why? Well, we'll be seeing all the episodes before they even air, of course! >:P This is the internet folks, I'm sure someone is in one of the categories I mentioned above and will end up putting the new episodes online. Two episodes are already found and there's probably a couple more floating around the web; I'm sure of it and if it's not all the episodes, then I'm positive that it's most of them. My expectations are really high for these new episodes. >:(
Sorry to make this quick, but don't worry, I'll have my input here and there. Who knows... you might see something that might be even more surprising than what you've seen already. Are you all ready? If not, then too bad. >:P

Yep, I received that anonymously in an e-mail a few months ago, but since Dazed pretty much died, I never got the chance to let you guys hear it. So sad, right? ;]
Alright, so time for some good ole' commentary on what's happening right now in the ATLA community. I've decided to provide a short outline, since we've been gone so long:
Now, what's been going on in the fan community, you ask? Well, nothing major; it's essentially dead. Suki's not even going around annoying people to death anymore. :\ Someone needs to tell her and Konoko that you can't have anime icons on an ATLA fansite. Anyhoo, some of the things I've noticed:
So, not much else to talk about...hopefully things will start to pick up during the summer; series finale and all. <_< Dazed has a new (emo...goth...blood...ugh) layout that was designed by Liamane, who owned that site no one cared about, and coded by myself, the best person ever. At least the text size is now "Blind-Friendly." (Seriously...we installed braille. *chortles*)Tomorrow's R&R Wednesday, and since Norie isn't currently around, get ready to hear from me! >:] Well....bye. Dazed Resurrected; A New Entity 5/2/08
Greetings, primitives. Fine, I'll cut the crap and get right to the chase, alright? Many can call me Nate, N, teh man, whatever. I don't really care. I'm here to start what Norie has failed to achieve, and I'm going to make certain that Dazed will be the most regarded blog in the Avatar community. So, shut your traps and read.
Miss Avatar, everyone? Well, if you're anything like me, you're either A. dying for the series finale or B. wanting to strangle the bastards that are Nickelodeon. How long has it been since a new episode has debuted? Or, better yet, when are new episodes coming out? Come on, darn it. At least Comic-Con brings a spark of hope...
If anything, everyone of this community is also to blame. Come on, you've all freaking given up on such a good show. How many of you actually know that they released the two episodes for the Boiling Rock? How many of you care? ...I thought so. You lazy couch potatoes.
Guess what? I'm going to be kind enough to inform you "kiddies" when new Avatar spoilers emerge to the surface. Aren't I a saint? The best part is that, hey, I have plenty of time on my hands. Can you smell frequency??
