When I turn 18 and graduate I plan to enter construction as my job of choice. There are many different jobs in the construction field and there is a lot of potential to earn good money. By choosing a job in construction I am starting out at about 12 dollars an hour. Once you have finished an apprenticeship for your "area of expertise" the pay increases dramatically. Working in construction may be hard on your body, but working construction is a good job that needs a lot of workers while still paying good money. Working construction is they only job I can see myself enjoying because it is the type of job where you always have to be doing something.
There are many different types of jobs in the construction field. The most common are.. Carpenters,Electricians,Plumbers,Operating Engineers, Cement masons / Concrete finishers, Painters, and General maintenance. Here is some information that I thought was interesting or might be important for me to know in the future when I need to decide what I want to do for a career.
