May 28- Computer Problems
So school will finish, and I'll have tons of time for this, right? Yeah, thats what I thought to. Then I decided to change my OS from windows to linux. That will be fun, I thought. Hmm. Looks like I screwed something up in the instalation though, and now my pc doesn't believe that it has a modem, graphics card, or pretty much anything else (so I'm writing this quick note from a friends). Well, I have no idea how to fix it, and until I do updates will be very spotty at best. If things really don't work out I can always reinstall windows and see if that fixes it ... I hope.

I'm still working on the sisters thoug. This month I pretty much got archo flagelents, and an inquisitor with retinue. That brings me really close to the end of my list. I'll pur it all down in the relevant section when I fix my pc. So, untill then, later all. Sorry about this.

April 29 - New Picture
Well, I'm so close to the end of the academic year I can taste it. I'll get lots of stuff up then. For now, I've posted a pic of the basic design I want for my sisters. This mini was painted up pretty hastily, and a bit slopily. I just wanted to get the feel for my color scheme and see if it would work though, I'll go back and fix some of the problem spots/botched highlights when I'm out of college. When I finish painting one adaquately, I'll finally get up that painting guide I've been talking about for the last six months. If you have thoughts on my scheme though, I'd love to hear any comments/criticism/ideas, so feel free to let me know (PaulKios@hotmail.com).

April 9- New Additions to my List
My list is really begining to take shape now, and I've finally hit the 1500 point mark thanks to a few point increses in the new codex (which is fabulously balanced by the way, good job GW!) My list is still sorely lacking in tanks and viable counter attack units, but its good to go (or at least it will be when I finally get it painted). Check out the Collecting My List page to see my current list.

In other news, college is almost done for the year, so I'll be able to turn my full attention back to this site in a little under a month. You can't be half as excited as I am :-). Look forwards to all sorts of battle reports, fiction, and my long delayed painting guide around then. Also, as always, if any of you have things you want to donate to my site (bat reps, articles, whatever), send an e-mail to (PaulKios@hotmail.com).

March 17 - An Update (or why there haven't been any real updates)
OK, so there haven't been any updates in a bit over a month. Don't think the site is being neglected though :-) I'm just really busy right now. Here is whats going on. There are no purchases for this month. Whats that you say? Well, I did go down to GW but they have finally pulled the Sisters stuff from their shelves for the rerelease at the begining of next month. Instead of ordering some old archived bits, I thought I'd just wait till April to get some of the new releases. This means next month I get $100 to spend, and not $50.

My painting is coming along (albeit slowly). Since I have the file limit problem, I have to wait till my stuff is all done before I post my painting guide (so I can post it all as one downloadable file). New bat reps will be forthcoming as soon as I finish all the real work that's been thrown at me. So yeah, the site is definately not being neglected, though I doubt there will be any real updates until some time in April (the early part of it hopefully...) Like B.A.B.E said, what's important is to keep things well done, not rushing to crank out something new just because.

PS: I just got a PJ Harvey CD (To Bring You My Love) for my 90's rock collection, and it really kicks ass. I recomend you all check her out. I don't normally listen to stuff like that, but I still like that CD.

February 11 - New Purchases For February
I finally got some new purchases, and you can check out where my list now stands on the Collecting My List page.

February 4 - Witch Hunters Tactica!
Hey. You can probably guess that I'm really excited about the upcoming release of our codex. After you read this tactica by ARE, you'll probably be just as psyked. He's goten a look at the preview copy of the codex, and has been good enough to write up an excelent tactica.

Brief Disclaimer: I haven't read the new codex myself, so I'm making no guarantees of this tactica's acuracy. It does fit in with all the rumors I have heard though, so it seems pretty reliable to me.

January 30 - Updates and File Limits
Hey all. As you can see from the pic on the right, I've finally started priming/painting my army. I was all excited to make an online painting guide, but freewebs is giving me some problems.
Apparently, I can only have a total of 50 files, unless I want to pay them for more, and I've already hit that barrier. Naturally, this is a hindrance for a painting guide that would have to include lots of picture files. It's also a hindrance for everything else, but dont fret.

For now, I've deleted the mouseover colored images for my links (eldar online, exlibris mortis, GW). That gives me three files back, and some room to play with. Other pages are going to get mildly cluttered (all the tactics articles are on one page now, instead of their own unique pages), but you can still navigate them fairly easily thanks to some in-page links I've put there. As for the painting guide, I'll still make it up, but will have to post it as one single download instead of a web-page, that way it only counts as one file.

Nonetheless, this is really frustrating. If anyone knows of a good, really cheap server, let me know (PaulKios@hotmail.com). If anyone would be willing to host my site and knows how, that would be even better. Till this gets dealt with though, some pages will just have to be cramped.

January 21 - My First Battle Report! (and other news)
Well, I haven't had a chance to work on my order's fluff anymore, although I have completed my first battle report ever (go on you, read it, yeah you, you know you want to...). Apart from that, Horatio Andonian's Tactica has been ammended to notify readers of a portion regarding meltabombs that is of highly debatable legality. Speaking of tacticas, James has submited a unit summary of his own that you can check out too. I'm also starting to paint my minis, and you can look forwards to some new pictures and the beginings of a painting guide/advice in the near future.

January 12 - Some Updates (Sort of...)
No real changes. I'm moving back to college on the 13th, and since the computer I'm working with now doesn't have a CD-RW drive, I'm going to upload all of my files to the freewebs server, so I can just download them from the net to my computer at college when I get back there (as opposed to saving it all on a bunch of 3.5's). Since I'm doing that, I thought I might as well link to the page that has the begginings of my order's fluff on it. It's really just a start, and isn't even presentable, but since it's on the net anyhow, I might as well link to it. If nothing else, it should prove that I haven't been ignoring this site for the last two weeks or so. I'll be busy when I get back to college, so don't expect any real updates until near the end of the month. I'll get my first battle report out by then, and hopefully my fluff should be more neatly put together than it is now.

January 01 (2004) - Happy New Year!
I fixed the "Adepta" banner, but still haven't dealt with any other spelling. Apart from that, I've explained my January 2004 purchases, and I should be able to get in the first short battle report of my own this month (but don't expect that until we get closer to February). I'd also like to start writing some backgound fluff for my army in the near future. Perhaps the biggest update is the tactical overview of each unit in the Sisters list that has been submited (check it out under Featured Articles, or in the Tactics section). I'll let you all know when anything else happens.

December 25 - New Updades
Merry Christmas! Well, this site has gotten a slight update, and we now have lots of background information as well as our first set of battle reports (albeit not my own). I'm also aware that I should change the big banner up top to "Adepta Sororitas" instead of "Adeptus Sororitas". I'll get around to that pretty soon (and hopefully I'll fix some of the many other spelling mistakes at the same time). I still want to utilize the more visually impresive scheme I've thought up, but no time for that.

December 20 - Camera
Yeah! I got myself a digital camera for Christmas (slightly in advance actually, but hey...). It's a 5 megapixel Kodak camera, but since it was an old model thats not really being stocked anymore, I got it for one hundred dollars less than the new 4 megapixel cameras. Only time will tell if it was a bargain or if I got screwed, but I've already replaced the "stolen" GW pics with my own (albeit ugly and temporary) images (wee! I'm copyright compliant now!). In other news, I've fixed the ordering of these news filings, to get the most recent first. I also thought up a new page design involving a dark blue/navy blue striped background to set off all these tables. I probably won't bother making it for sometime though. A simple design with good content is better than a good looking page with nothing to offer, so I should focus on getting some interesting stuff on here first..

December 17 - Happy Holidays!
No updates in awhile, since I didn't take any files to college with me (too busy on finals). Now I've gotten around to buying the second instalment of troops for my list, and, It looks like I'm going to be getting a digital camera for Christmas. That will help me to get my own pictures up here, and to stop this awful copyright infringement thing I have going on right now (all apologies to GW, I promise it will stop soon). Once that happens, I can start advertising this site a bit more heavily. No reason to do that until I get some useful content uploaded though, and it looks like I'm going to have to wait until January before this site really has anything to offer. Hmm. I think I'm also going to have to switch these news listings to get the most recent on top as well. Oh well, happy holidays to anyone who has somehow stumbled in here!

November 22 - The Begining
So, it dawned on me that I really should start a Sisters of Battle army. The chaos army that I had purchased and played during the EoT has become a rather one trick pony that usually does well, but depends to much on a tooled up lord. This monotony doesn't give me too much fun, and I can't imagine that my opponents enjoy it either. The Sororitas should play completely differently. I particularly like the imagery of purging the enemy with fire. Too bad most people play marines and other troops that flamers won't terribly effect, but oh well. At least I get to play with a difficult and amusing army that has a completely unique play style.

I've decided to do this on no more that $50 a month, as cash to spend on these games isn't in high supply on my part. This site is initially dedicated to describing the collection of my new army and my thought process. Hopefully as I gain playing experience, I can embellish it with tactical advice, battle reports, and painting advice. Maybe it can really grow and be of use to some side in a future GW campaign. ... Hey, I can dream can't I ;-) Well, these are my intentions, and if you are reading this, you're witnessing the humble beginnings.
