Rescuing animals from abuse! The Organization has been formed to alleviate the injustices animals face, and we continue to battle cruelty today. Whether it’s saving a pet who has been accidentally poisoned, fighting to pass and/or supporting humane laws. We work toward the day in which no animal will live in pain or fear. |  |
Animal Cruelty
You may know an animal is suffering right now due to someone's negligence, lack of education or purposeful act of violence. But you may not know where to turn. YOU can help the Animal Cruelty Emergency Response Team prevent and alleviate animal suffering!
Animal cruelty can take many forms. To name just a few that we see far too often:
- A skinny dog chained to a fence in the freezing cold with no shelter in sight
- Cats, dogs and other companion animals abandoned in a home and forgotten
- Stray animals captured and used by dogfighters as bait for their dogs' training
- Vicious pranksters harming whatever animal happens to cross their path
