The LICB has members throughout Long Island, NY. Though most of our members are residents of Nassau and Suffolk County, the chapter works to improve the lives of all persons who are blind or visually impaired throughout New York City and Long Island. We welcome all who wish to participate with us whether they are able to physically attend meetings or not.
Whether you are totally blind, partially sighted, or a friend or relative of a person who is visually impaired, LICB membership will enrich your life. Through membership or support, you will keep up to date with developments, new products and services, career opportunities, recreational and travel possibilities, benefits, and much more. So join us today, and start receiving opportunities to shape the future, publications with information you cannot get anywhere else, and the chance to meet people who are blind or visually impaired from around Long Island.
