- Boy Scouts of America

Yes, I am a registered/paid member of the Boy Scouts of America - and I'm active in Troop 679. I am also a member of the Order of the Arrow, a pretty awesome program that's sortof like BSA's National Honor Society, only without the nerds in glasses.

- Patch Trading

Yeah, I'm a patch trader.

I collect/trade OA flaps as well as CSPs, and I do collect NOAC 2-piece sets. I highly recommend eBay (www.ebay.com) for those collectors who are willing to spend some money for there collections.

If you are interested in making a trade with me, please contact me via email.

- TRIPS

Camping is a pretty big pastime of mine, and here I've put down the BEST of the trips I've gone on (not all of them by a long stretch).

Boundary Waters: a huge lake preserve between Minnesota and Canada. I want canoeing there for a week, enjoying some of the best times I've had in my life. A truly amazing trip, also where I learned how to fish for my dinner. The Last Cast Expedition Presentation is available on email.

Grand Canyon: I went backpacking through the Grand Canyon for 3 days, a unique experience. We camped (not bunked) at Phantom Ranch and Indian Gardens. I wish I could have had a stronger group, as all the free time was spent helping others out of the canyon or waiting for them to catch up.

Horton's Creek (from the Rim): While I've been to Horton's Spring 3 times, the time I accessed it from the Mogollon Rim was the most memorable. I led my troop backpacking along the Rim through a truly monster storm. Lightning was striking within seeing distance from us, a truly dangerous environment. After we battled throught the storm, we had to forge our own trail down the Rim. A short, but memorable, backpacking trip.
