Thank you for visiting the website of A Better World Is Within Reach - PEACE Network.
A few photographs of our past Epicenter of Peace Celebration.
These photos may load very slowly because they are very large.
|
Photo 1 Before entering the celebration, everyone, of all races from all over the world, could read our welcome sign that was placed outside. That is because our welcome sign was printed in over 100 different languages!
If you would like to create a multicultural, multilingual wlecome sign for your group or your next event, you can copy and paste the information found on our Welcome sign. It is found
by clicking here.

Photo 2 Wonderful independent publications such as these artistic zines (independently made magazines) were available.
|
Photo 3 Everyone was greeted with hugs and smiles when they walked in the door! Smiles from friends and smiles from floating balloons!
|
|
Photo 4 There was a huge peace poster with dozens of crayons for children and people of all ages to share their thoughts and drawings of peace. In this corner of the poster someone drew the words "World Peace Is Possible."
|
Photo 5 You can see Kerri working on some artwork in foreground of this photo. There were some wonderful necklaces and peace activism artwork offered by Gabrielle (in the beautiful rainbow sweater) and Thomas Chavez. The exhibit they brought was to help to support a peace activism art project called "Arlington NW" that will be set up in the South Park Blocks on Sunday afternoon, March 20, 2005.
Photo 6 Brian Maloney provided us with awesome live music!
Photo 7 Angela, member of Physicians for Social Responsibility, shares her smile and her wonderfully large variety of information from her group. She brought publications of all types, petitions and videos for everyone.
