26) Traveling Diamond – This is very similar to the Hot Rod. The effect: The magician displays a stick fitted with four gemstones on both sides. There is a "diamond" at the top on each side, with three "rubies" at the bottom. He gives the stick a flick, and the diamond jumps to second from the top. The stick is again shown on both sides, and the diamond has jumped to the second position on both sides of the rod. The rod is now passed through the magician’s hand, and the diamond has jumped to the second last position, the rod being again shown on both sides.
