villager: Indeed, it's been three days now, without a break.

villager: At first, the Youkai really were pretty puny looking,; and it's as if they were being chased and were fleeing.

[Shippou looks up. In front of him is a Youkai girl, looking around 13 perhaps, who has a somewhat cold expression, but otherwise looks fairly normal. However, she is carrying a long sword with a dark aura.]

Shippou: Inuyasha has a good sense of smell.; He'll soon track this place down.
youkai-girl: Humph.

Shippou: Why are you doing this!?

youkai-girl: To let this...; suck up Youkai-energy.

[She partly draws the evil looking sword.]
youkai-girl: This is the dark sword "Daki".; It becomes stronger by taking Youkai-energy from opponents.
[COMMENTS] "Dakki" here means "asorbing demon" or "stealing demon".

[Shippou looks at the girl.]
Shippou: Could it be that you're the one driving the Youkai from the forest?
youkai-girl: Heh.; Yeah, me, the great Mujina.
[COMMENTS] Mujina doesn't have any kanji associated with her name. However, there is a type of Youkai called "Mujina" (faceless), which sometimes make cliche apperances in anime and manga - someone human-looking turning around and having a blank face is a mujina. Anyway, Mujina here refers to herself as "Mujina-sama" - she obviously has a high opinion of herself, but this is hard to translate. This doesn't necessarily mean that Mujina is a "faceless" though.
