Best Times of My Trip...

1. Abseiling!!!!!!!! We got to climb up this castle (100 ft tall), hook ourselves to a 1/2 cord, and go off the edge! What a rush! I was so excited to go, but got to the top and it looked a little higher from up there. I got hooked up to my ropes, got on the platform, leaned back into a sitting postion, moved my feet off the platform, and I was rapelling off the side of a castle!

2. My home stay in Worcester, England. Some highlights of my three days with the Eades were... ~Chinese picnic on the living room floor watching an English version of ER. ~Sunday afternoon drive to the mountains  ~Tons of chocolate! ~The music room in the house where we spent hours making up songs and dances. ~Bread sauce and red currant jelly ~Yummy Sunday dinner ~All the wonderful stories we shared around the dinner table.

3. Warwick Castle. We got to experince what it was like to live in the castle 300 years ago. There were incredible sights and sounds that made me feel like I was living in a fairy tale.

4. Eating my first coleslaw and butter sandwich in Ireland. I wouldn't say it was one of my best times, but it was interesting!

5. Seeing the Atlantic Ocean for the first time; not only that but I also got to see dolphins!

6. Our day on the Irish farm. We got to see and experience what it was like to be true Irishmen. We even got to learn a little song and dance number for our "ceili" later. A ceili (pronounced "K-lee") is an Irish term for a dance or big get together with music and dancing.

7. London Eye Ride. We got to ride in the largest (and slowest) Ferris Wheel in the world! The sights we saw were incredible! Never look straight down. I looked out over the horizon and I was okay, although I was still a little shaky.

8. The play we saw in London called "The Complete Word of God". It was so funny! Even better than Saturday Night Live!

9. The early morning bus rides and our delegation manager singing to us every morning. She was in love with S Club 7, so every morning she would put in the song, "Reach for the Stars" and we would perform our routine to it. I'm not kidding - we did this every morning before we went to anything else.

10.St. Andrews, Scotland. I had some of the best times of my life here. The ghost walk down town, golf course, community service project, and the late night talks with other girls. Beautiful scenery here, too.
