Herbs for Kids: Pediatric Herbalism for Parents and Professionals Wednesday, Sept. 6, 9:30-11:30am

Focus on how to keep your kids healthy with herbs, how 
to herbally treat the common illnesses of childhood, and how to assemble your own pediatric herbal first-aid kit. With Midwife and Herbalist MaryLou 
Singleton. $20 plus tax

($30 per couple, meaning two persons from same household).   
 
Infant/Toddler Signing Playgroup ~ Thursday, September 7, 10-11 am Join other signing families for songs, signs, visiting and more. Set up around a theme, each session will include casual activities and a lot of visiting and 
learning from each other. $5 per session. 
 
Inspired Parenting Workshop ~ Saturday, September 9, 12-5pm This comprehensive workshop explores baby and toddler care (including many tricks you won't learn in books!), sleep issues, parenting with consciousness 
(including discipline and parental relaxation skills), attachment parenting and 
other parenting philosophies, transitions from couple to family and welcoming siblings. This is what you need!

$75 plus tax for per person, $100 per couple.

Baby Massage ~ Wednesday, September 13, 10-11 am

Touch is a great way to build the bond between you and your little one.  Learn the basics with Amity Johnson, Certified Doula and Baby Massage Instructor. $10 plus tax.   
 
Infant and Child CPR ~ Sunday, September 17, 12:30-3:30pm

Learn the life-saving techniques of the American Heart Association's Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for infants and children with Marie Sanchez. $35 plus tax/person 
includes material ($60 per couple - same household). 

 
Immunization Basics ~ Monday, Sept. 18, 9:30-11.30am

Join us to learn more about this highly controversial topic, so you can make educated decisions about your child. Discuss the full range of options, including benefits and drawbacks of all approaches.  This is one of the most useful classes you will ever take!

Parenting Tea ~ Wednesday, September 20, 10-11am

Stop by to visit, talk with other parents and confer informally with Erika Harding, certified Doula and birthing instructor. Bring your baby or toddler! Topics include sleep issues, breastfeeding, discipline, and a full range of parenting challenges and joys. $5 plus tax (or buy a 5-tea punch card and get the 6th tea free!).

 
Making Your Own Babyfood ~ Monday, Sept. 25, 9:30-11am

Do you want to feed your baby the very best? Find out why making your own baby food is a terrific option, and doesn't have to be complicated, inconvenient or overwhelming. In fact, it's much simpler when you know your child is getting the best ingredients you can find. From frozen cubes to ground cereals. Come share recipes, tips and hints, as well.
