All about Palms

This will be about anything pertaining from cold hardy to tropical palms. The palm photo at the right was taken spring of year 2000. It is a Washingtonia robusta on the pond edge, that was over-wintered there for the 2nd year in the ground (with minimum protection) here in zone 6. That shows that it CAN be done. It lasted 3 summers till I didn't get around to protecting it that fall before a HARD freeze.

Basically, this site will be of your home pages, nurseries, Q&A, pictures, wants, trades, sales, etc. Whatever we can due here, we will. I'm starting this in hopes that it can fill a void in the world of palms. Any ideas are welcome. I'll be working on this as time permits, so please bare with me.
