| ABOUT FACE signifie littéralement « volte-face », nom chargé de l’énergie, du changement et de l’innovation qui distinguera notre création de tout ce qui existe déjà sur scène. Il évoque un mouvement, une réorientation, même le pivotement si caractéristique des Drum Corps (pupitres de tambours) d’où notre show trouve, au moins en partie, son inspiration. Jeu de mots symbolique et réfléchi, ABOUT FACE se centre aussi sur les « visages » et leur riche dimension théâtrale… La genèse de ce projet ? Ce n’est rien de moins que le désir de créer un spectacle magistral, divertissant, unique en son genre ; une production musicale qui abandonne la scène aux rythmes et aux percussions, mêlant aux sons la musique, l’humour, le théâtre, la chorégraphie et les lumières… Faire « volte-face » ? C’est le moment ! |

| ABOUT FACE literally denotes a « turnabout »,
a name charged with energy, change, and the innovation that will distinguish
our creation from anything that already exists on Parisian stages. It can’t
help but to evoke a brisk wind of change, a reorientation, even the 180° pivoting that is so characteristic of the drum corps that have, at least in some part, inspired us. An underlying wordplay, ABOUT FACE is also about faces, and their rich theatricality… The genesis of this project? Well, it is nothing less than the desire to create an exceptionally unique and entertaining show; a musical production that abandons the stage to rhythm and percussion, intermingled with music, humor, choreography, and lights… An “about face”? The time is now! |
