November 4 - 6, 2017

In support and celebration of the Philippine chairmanship on the 50th founding anniversary of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN),  the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) will be hosting the ASEAN Invitational Philatelic Exhibit (ASEANPEx) 2017 on November 4 to 6, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

ASEANPEx is a showcase of stamps and other philatelic products from the 10 ASEAN countries featuring current issuances as well as rare and collector’s item stamps.   The last ASEANPEx held in the country was in 1996 at the SM Mega Trade Hall in Mandaluyong.

This year’s three-day exhibit will be carrying the theme “ASEANPEx 2017: Exploring the beauty and diversity of ASEAN culture and tradition”, and will be attended by ambassadors from other ASEAN countries,  heads from various government sectors,  celebrities,  and personalities,  students, philatelists,  and other enthusiasts.

“As host country, we believe that this is also a great opportunity for us to showcase the world-class tourist destinations in the country, the unique Philippine biodiversity and, of course, our colorful culture and history,” PHLPost Assistant Postmaster General for Marketing and Management Support Services Luis D. Carlos said in a statement.

ASEANPEx 2017 will showcase a 200-frame display of rare and winning stamp collections from member countries; lectures on philately; and, interactive booths.
