There will be no training on Sunday the 20th of April as we will be in Cardiff at the second round of the I.T.F Wales grand prix.

CONGRATULATIONS TO SIMON FURNEAUX FOR ACHEIVING BRONZE IN THE BLACK BELT SPARING THIS WEEKEND IN THE ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIPS. WELL DONE MATE FROM ALL THE STUDENTS AND MYSELF.

EASTER TRAINING TIMES

THERE WILL BE NO TRAINING ON EASTER SUNDAY. TRAINING AS NORMAL FOR THE REST OF THE SCHOOL HOLIDAY.

Every month I will put a new pic up and you get your chance to put a funny caption to it. The best one of the month will get placed next to the pic along with the name of the person that sent it in.

GRAND PRIX STAGE 1

Congratulations to all of you who attended the first round of the I.T.F Wales grand prix in Cardiff this weekend. The competition was well attended by clubs From all over Wales and the standard was high. Its always nice to see new people at this event. All of the students conducted themselves very well and I was proud of all of you. Rhys Rowlands from Tywyn looked very shy and quiet first thing in the morning but by lunchtime he had a big smile on his face. Maybe this had something to do with a gold medal in patterns and a silver in sparring (who knows lol) Well done Rhys. Everyone did really well and a fair few trophys came our way through out the morning. WELL DONE TO ALL OF YOU.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL SPARRING GEAR BOUGHT FROM NOW ON MUST BE EITHER RED OR BLUE IF YOU INTEND TO ENTER ANY COMPETITIONS THIS YEAR. ALL MALE COMPETITORS MUST WEAR A GROIN GUARD.
