Some information about the author

I have joined a charismatic group called ’Mater Dei’ in August 1993.  In this group I have discovered people who were filled with joy. A question which I always asked to myself was: “What’s making these people so happy?” There I began searching for the joy those people had. I soon realized that the joy they had was coming from our Lord and Saviour.

By God’s help and the help of some brothers and sisters, I came closer to an important decision in my life; the decision to accept God as the only Lord of my life. From there onwards I began to change, and throughout that time my life was changing rapidly. I renounced all earthly ideologies and accepted the spiritual ones.

Here I also discovered the gift that the Lord had given me namely singing, praising and worshiping God. There was also a calling to form a worship Team for the group and I felt that I had to contribute towards this calling. Many years had passed and the Lord had called me once again to serve in the National Worship Team, in order to organize various praise and worship activities such as outreaches, conferences, concerts, mass, etc.

In 2001 I felt that our group should have its own spiritual leaflet. By God’s help, I started working on it. I called this leaflet ‘Mater Dei’; the name our group holds. From here onwards I started my work on a Computer (I would like to mention here that never in my whole life did I ever touch a keyboard with my hands. So one can imagine how difficult it was for me during the first few months).  But the Lord will not assign a task without the necessary help and provisions.

After 5 years of publishing this leaflet, I felt the need of having my own website, so that all the positive things that are contained in this leaflet can be spread among many other souls, not only in Malta but also with emigrants overseas and others.  Don’t you ever dare to think that it was an easy job to create a website! So let’s get things straight: I don’t know anything about websites!  The only thing I know is that God will never forsake me and as he had given me help during the publication of the leaflet, surely he will help me in building and keeping this website.

I am inviting all those who would like to accept and taste the goodness of God to come closer to Jesus: the Way, the Truth and the Life.
