                 Highlight of the evening is the Real Madrid - Juventus encounter, inwhich Luxembourgo will face his first Champions League fixture, Nedved has a big possibility of not playing due to a knee injury, Ronaldo's toe still hurts him and his situations is still undecided.

                 English clubs have a hard task at hand as both Liverpool and Arsenal have tough Germans in front of them, Liverpool will host Leverkusen in Anfield and odds are stacked against the Reds, while the match in Olympiastadion has very bad memories for the other Reds, who lost in the last encouter in 2001.

                 PSV is seeking revenge from last year when Monaco won in Holland, but now at last after 7 times, PSV is in the elimination stages, but is the opponent the same as last year? certainly not, but neither is PSV!

                                  The Champions League 04/05 round 16 draw gave out what could be the most spectacular matches in the 04/05 season, the matches are as follows:

Real Madrid CF v Juventus FC: two teams that know each other well, this might be the best match to see of the best matches available.

FC Porto v FC Internazionale Milano: a very tough opponent for the title holders as they will play aganist one of the best Italian clubs.


FC Barcelona v Chelsea FC: a very wild game is expected, 2 clubs that have improved last season and this season are coming hotter than ever, this might be THE match everybody is waiting for.


Werder Bremen v Olympique Lyonnais: realtively good luck for the inexperienced Bremen.


Liverpool FC v Bayer 04 Leverkusen: luck for both teams as well, but who will win?

PSV Eindhoven v AS Monaco FC: the new comers to the round of 16 go head-to-head with the runner-ups of last season.

Manchester United FC v AC Milan: Milan go back to the place where they won their last title, but Old Trafford may not be Milan's side this time.
FC Bayern München v Arsenal FC: Gunners lost in 2001 in the Olympic stadium, will it happen again?

The second half matches of Matchday 6 will all begin at 20:45 Liverpool with Olympiakos, Deportive and Monaco, Leverkusen and Dynamo Kiev, and Roma with Real, Ajax with Bayren, and M.Tel-Aviv with Juventus, Fenerbache with Man Utd and finally Lyon with Spata.

First half of Matchday 6 had some dramatic matches and changes in the first half of this year's Champions League groups, Porto, Arsenal and Bremen were the stars that guarantted a spot in the last 16. Arsenal won Rosenborg 5-1, eliminating Panathinikos' hope of reaching the last 16 although they won PSV a stagering 4-1 in Greece. Shakhtar gave their fans the second surprise of the night beating Barcalona 2-0 in Ukraine, Milan garrantted a spot after a tie with Celtic in Glasgow 0-0, Shakhtar now qualified for UEFA Cup and Celtic are out. A dramatic match in Mestalla saw Bremen winning 2-0 qualifing to the second round and Valencia are sent to the UEFA Cup inwhich they are the title holders and Anderlecht went rock bottom after losing 3-0 to Inter. CSKA won OSG 3-1 in the Parc Des Princes, and Porto secured a postion in the next round winning Morinho's Chelsea 2-1 in Porto.
