Hoso Bunka Foundation Documentary Festival

Tokyo, Japan 1997

 In 1997, I won the top award of the 3rd Hoso Bunka Foundation Festival. This award was given to me and my co-producer and colleague Mr. M. R. Kashani for the best  documentary on the Asian immigration issue. The documentary was called "Dislocation". It covered migration from its traditional version in the Iranian nomadic community to those who migrate from developing countries to the developed ones.

The award was given to us by the Japanese Ambassador to the UN in front of all japanese broadcasters. After the Award Ceremony the japanese press interviewed both of us. all japanese radios, TVs and print media covered the Award ceremony and the Press Conference. Many European and Asian media covered the event too.

The Best IRIB TV Presenter, 2003, Tehran

The best TV interviewer and the Live programmes moderator award of 2003 was given to me in the 4th IRIB biennal festival. This award was doubled and supported next year, 2004, when I received another Trophy for the best TV Live Interviewer.

Outstanding Presenter of the Last Eclipse of the 20th Century

IRIB Tehran 1999

In the last days of the last 2oth century an eclipse happened in a big part of Europe and Asia. It was mostly viewed in Iran when it was covered by Iranian TV. I was the anchorman of that five hour coverage with live contacts with five other stations in Iran from west to east. A part of this coverage was transmitted live by many other broadcasters in Asia or Europe. I was lucky to perform this job for which I received the above herald.
