Welcome to the home of Abattoir Pigs. We are a band from Kettering, Northamptonshire, who play old-school death metal. We are heavily influenced by bands like Obituary, Napalm Death, Carcass, Mayhem, Darkthrone, At the Gates, Death, Suffocation etc etc. and have been playing venues throughout the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire areas for several months as well as moving further afield to places like Nottingham. We will update the site all the time, so keep checking around for updates...
01/05/06 - Howdy folks, we just wanna say thanks to everyone at Latimer, the 'Halloweena' people for organising, Will for photos, Chris for videos, and of course Shaun for playing a spot of drums. Also, be sure to check out Superfuzz at www.myspace.com/superfuzz2
11/03/06 - Hey we just wanna thank everyone for coming out again last night and making another amazing show! You guys are awesome! We had a great time and yet another amazing response, including a massive wall of death on the final song! Congratualitons to the winners. See you at Latimer!
03/03/06 - We won the Big T Gigs round 3 battle tonight which we are amazed at! We wanna thank EVERYONE who came and banged their heads or got in the pits for our set despite someone sabotaging it causing us to miss out a song. You all need to come down again on friday and support us! Big thanks to Will for the photos, Chris for the video and Tom for putting us on in the first place. Photos and possibly videos will be up within the next few days. The gig on friday is going to cost about £3.50 instead of being free like the other rounds. See ya around! - AP
29/01/06 - Hey, this is Joe. We played the Lubenham Hall gig last night, and really enjoyed it. Just a word to say thanks to all our good friends who gave us massive amounts of support, to Paul and Will for the photos, and to Vic and Bec for organising. See you at the Sawyers.
