Here are a few sites I have come across both before and after doing the
track.
Kosciuszko
Huts
Association - The KHA page has
information on all of the huts you
will come across when bushwalking in Victoria, NSW and the ACT.
Remote
Tech's Bushwalking Site
- Great reference for bushwalking in the
alps. Maintained by Trevor Brown, who I met on Mt Bogong whilst doing
the AAWT. Has excellent straightforward advice on gear and fantastic
information on the Bogong High Plains area.
Bushwalking.org.au
FAQ - Roger Caffin's FAQ is a brilliant resource for bushwalkers, even if it
does have a little bias towards ultralight walking.
John
Chapman's AAWT Page - Lots of
information about the track including a suggested map list which I
found useful when collecting the maps required.
Take
A Walk Publications - AAWT -
John & Lyn Daly publish bushwalking guide books, and were
chasing
me for most of the track! (Summer 2004/05)
Les
Skinner's AAWT Trip Report -
Covers the AAWT from Walhalla to Mt Hotham in excellent detail. (Spring
2004)
Homburg's AAWT Page - Excellent
page with lots of photos and links; walked the track from Canberra to
Walhalla. (Spring 2004)
Jugglebuttom's
AAWT Page - The AAWT from an
ultralight walker's perspective. (Summer 2002)
