The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog (A.O.S.T.H.) was a syndicated show that aired back in September of 1993. It also aired on Toon Disney a few years back (like in 1998 - 2002). It was a show that was based on the games (mainly Sonic 2) more than anything else. If you were looking for a show full of action, well this is the wrong choice. This would have made a great show for Nick Jr. or PBS. Try SONIC X for action or even SATAM. It ran for 1 season of 66 episodes, but people have broken it up into 5 seasons even though it aired over the course of 3 months (September to December 1993). After every episode there would be a segment called "Sonic Sez". It was basically a "educational" 30 second segment. Sonic would say something like "Reading is good" or something. I will be posting the "Sonic Sez" summaries on the episode guide. This show was poorly animated in some places and it copied some other DIC shows like Super Mario. The reason why it was badly animated was because it was one of the lowest budget shows that DIC made, one of the writers said was that both shows were given a choice of budget (low or high). SatAM got high, while AoSTH got low evenfore it has the same animation studio in some episodes! (and also the people who did Duck Tales was also involved).
