Undated Vintage Vehicle

These plates replaced the Antique Vehicle type in 1996-97.  Numbering apparently started with VAA001.

USAGE

Vintage Vehicle plates are for original or authentically-restored vehicles over 30 years old operated only in "club activities, exhibitions, tours, parades."  Annual renewal is not necessary.

Previously, Antique Vehicle plates were for vehicles over 25 years old which had not been "materially modified."  There were no operating restrictions on vehicles with these plates.
