What kind of equipment do you use?

A This will depend on the type and size of the funcion. Our systems can cater for everything from small parties for 50 people, pub function rooms, village halls etc. right up to Weddings and larger functions for over 400 people. We will discuss your needs in detail and provide a suitable sound system and light show.

On the night, we would bring a complimentary range of sound and lighting to ensure a perfect atmosphere for your function.

Do you play requests?

A. Yes, we are happy to play requests, this is fairly common at Weddings but we are also happy to play people's favourites. We ask for any requests on the booking form and also have access to 10,000 MP3's to choose from. You can trust us to keep the crowd happy and dancing.

How long do you take to setup?

A. This depends on the size of rig being used and the access to the venue. On average between 30 minutes to an hour, but we always ask for an hour to cover ourselves.

Do we receive confirmation of our booking?

A. Yes, we will send a booking form and 2 copies of our terms and conditions, once the paperwork has been sent back to us with your deposit, the booking is confirmed.

Can we have references?

A. Yes, we are happy to provide references from our happy customers.

What kind of music will you play?

A. We carry music from the 1960s upwards and tend to play a mixture in order to please everyone. A typical night would include some Disco Favourites, a selection of 80's and 90's with some classic 60's tracks and then some newer pop or dance music. While it really depends on the type of party, we always find that our mix of music goes down well!

Do you use strobes or a smoke machine?

A. These are available on request but not used as standard, there is no extra charge for these, we simply ask our customers to request this option on the booking form.

How much do you charge?

A. This will depend on the following:

  1. How long the function is
  2. Size and location of the funcion
  3. Number of people

Will you travel to other areas of the country?

A. We are based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire and most of our functions are typically within a 30 mile radius however we are happy to travel to other areas in the UK and our quote will include a small fee to cover mileage.

How will the DJ dress?

A. We would dress appropriately for the occasion. For a formal function such as a Dinner / Dance or Wedding, our DJ would wear a Dinner Jacket with a bow tie or a Suit. For Birthday parties or less formal events, the DJ would wear smart casual clothes such as Smart Trousers / Jeans and a shirt.

Let us know your requirements, we are also happy to dress up in fancy dress.

Do you supply DJ's and Entertainers for children's parties?

A. Yes, we can do discos for childrens parties but we would recommend booking an entertainer if you are looking for games and activities rather than just a disco.

How is payment made?

A. We would take a deposit when you return the contract to us and the balance is payable on the day of the event before the party starts.

Are you insured?

A. Yes, we have public liability insurance to the value of £1 million for your peace of mind.

Is your equipment safe?

A. All our equipment has PAT (portable appliance tested) certificates and is regularly serviced.
