november 17, 2007. it ALL started. the day before my dad's birthday and two days before my little sister kinsy was born. the first site i owned was when i was 12 years old and it was called "hot trot lyts." it was def a "noob" site. it only had 4 layouts and the layouts were: brass knuckles, dragon tales, crayons, and stars. using a music player, all these songs played "shinin" by the pack. during this time the best known sites were: bebop, ghostly designs, boardwalk, and guavapop. everything seemed so new to me and when i hit 500 friends, i def thought i was the shiz. but everyone else had such higher friend counts! so i stopped focusing on the site content and more on the friend count i obtained, which was pretty stupid because no one cared for my site or wanted to add me if i didn't have that much content/goodies for them.so a year passed and i finally had 2,000 friends. bored of just getting friends, i started making signs, and then i made SIGN REQUESTS! after i got pretty good, alot of personals asked me to make them signs, and even if they didn't have my friend limit to request, i still made them signs because i was so nice. by the time i started making layouts and headers, i had around 6,000 friends. i still cared about my friend count alot, but i didn't really have time to get more friends, so i kept working on requests and making new headers, backrounds, and then i started to make LAYOUTS to provide people with. the first stylesheet i used from EXOTIC who later became paradise layouts. i soon had 10,000 friends, and was able to make premades, layouts, headers, do requests and make trains.
but my grades were low and i decided i didn't have any time for my site, so i gave it away to a friend who had a low friend count.
but not too long after i raised my grades, i realized that photoshop helped me w/ projects at schools, and it was a neat hobby so i restarted and made this site :) it's name has changed from:
talent --> mochaburst --> k!ssyfayc3 --> girlchat.
i now have 3,000 friends after restarting the site in november. my inspirations are tower lyts, soundproof, faux, and paranoia.
i realized something as i kept working on my sites. friend count doesn't matter. you can have an amazing amount of talent and under 1,000 friends. doesn't mean you aren't good.
