Jess and Rory get up and go to there bedroom. Lorelai looks at Luke.
Luke: what do you think that was about?
Lorelai: a book that remind me of you.

Lorelai looks into his eyes.

Rory: you haven’t told Luke?
Jess: that’s a very weird name, who’s the author?

Jess: really I don’t remember writing that.
Rory: Jess.

Rory: you didn’t tell Luke, that you had no where to go, or to stay, and that you need to stay with him?
Jess: well you know, I thought I could possibly ware out my welcome mat, and then when I have no where else to stay live in the back of Doose’s market and eat stuff, and someday hope to pay him back, you know like the movie “Home is Where the Heart is”?
Rory: you’ve seen that movie?
Jess: well the other night it was the only thing on.
Rory: okay, well…..darn it Jess, you got me sidetracked, now you need to go in there and tell Luke, what the plan is.
Jess: why do you want to see his vain pop?
Rory: he won’t get mad, he will be glad that you came to him for help.
Jess: yes just like a cactus poking you, your glad it did that?
Rory: go!

Jess and Rory walk out of Rory’s room. Jess looks at Rory. Rory mouths: tell him.
Jess: hey Luke? Uncle Luke? Lucas?
Luke: don’t ever call me Lucas again!
Jess: will do, but hey, I was wondering, or thinking, or….
Luke: will you just spit it out already kid?
Jess: sorry, but hey, um... I don’t have a job or any place to stay so I was wondering, If I could stay with you.
Luke: wow this one is a talker.
Lorelai: Luke, haven’t you known that?
Luke: yeah, but Jess of course.

Jess: do you need any help?
Rory: of course.
Jess: well make sure there is a comic strip, cause you will get a lot of kids, plus some adults like the comics too. Not saying any names..…Luke.
Rory: okay, but who can draw?
Jess: well, we might be at a loss there, but we can always look.
Rory: okay, anything else?
Jess: well I mean have some cross word puzzles, some jokes, just some fun stuff, and that will attract some people. Have coupons, and have some ads, not a lot but some, have a place where people can advertise stuff they are selling, like towards the back, talk about the Stars Hollow High sports, and you will have a whole bunch of readers.
Rory: true. Thank you Jess.
Jess: hey that’s what I’m here for.
Rory: well we should put up some flyers looking for someone who can draw?
Jess: yeah.
Rory: well lets get started.

Rory and Lorelai are sitting at the counter at Luke’s.
Rory goes over to the danish display, grabs a danish.
Rory: would you like one Mrs. Danes?
Lorelai does a fake laugh.
Lorelai: not funny
Luke and Jess walk out from the back.
Jess: Luke come on, you will have a lot of fun.
Luke: now I wont, and I know I wont.
Jess: how? Have you ever been to one?
Luke: yes.
Jess: when?
Luke: I think it was 1989.
Jess: 1989? See, they are way better now.
Lorelai and Rory watch in awe.
Luke: no!
Jess: why not?
Luke: because? What am I going to do there?
Lorelai: g…..
Jess: Luke go!
Lorelai looks at Rory. Jess and Luke continue to argue.
Rory: where do you think Jess wants Luke to go?
Lorelai: I’m thinking prison.
Rory: oh I see.
Jess: Luke please come.
Luke: why do you need to go so bad?
Lorelai: Okay boys?? Where is it that you need to go?
Jess looks at Rory, then an Lorelai.
Jess: I need to go to the mall, and my car is in the shop so Luke is my way to get there, but he wont.
Lorelai looks at Luke.
Lorelai: Luke you wont go with Jess to the mall?
Luke: malls are all dirty and people are every where trying to find a sale.
Lorelai: so that is the fun of it.
Luke: no.
Rory looks at Jess.
Rory: hey Jess I can take you to the mall, cause I was going to Hartford anyways to have lunch with my grandma and I can just drop you off.
Lorelai: you have a lunch with grandma?
Rory: yeah didn’t I tell you about that?
Lorelai: no you didn’t.
Rory: oh well sorry, but hey I’m having lunch with grandma.
Lorelai: well Luke I got to go to work.
Lorelai and Luke kiss.

Rory: well I have to go and find a place to have my office.
Jess: do you need some help?
Rory: well yeah, that would work out great.
Jess and Rory leave.

Lorelai: so your not having any luck finding a office?
Rory: no, any where I look it either is only for sale or if it is for rent It is only for a period of time.
Lorelai: oh oh oh!!
Rory: what is it? What?
Lorelai: I had the greatest idea ever!
Rory: tell me?
Lorelai: okay so you know how that lady said we can add on to the Dragonfly?
Rory: YEAH?
Lorelai: well what if we added on towards the back and made it your office?
Rory: mom I wouldn’t want you to do that, cause you would loose business, plus it would cost money from the both of us. And I thought you had plans for what you could add on?
Lorelai: that is true, but Rory, where are you going to have an office?
Rory: a place will open up. Until then I can just work at home or at the library or if I really needed a place Luke would let me work at his place.
Lorelai: okay, but Rory, if you ever need me to help out with anything, I’m here.
Rory: I know. Thank You!

Jess walks into Luke’s.
Luke: so what we’re you up to?
Jess: oh just looking around in the book store.
Luke: oh did you find anything worth while?
Jess: no not really
Luke: so you found a lot?
Jess: no just 2 books.
Luke: that’s not bad.
Jess: hey Luke?
Luke: yeah?
Jess: can I talk to you?
Luke: wait did you rob the book store?
Jess chuckles.
Jess: no, I didn’t rob the book store.
Luke: okay sure go ahead.
Jess: so I have this friend who has liked this girl since they pretty much met, but something always stood in his way.
Luke: like?
Jess: well boyfriends, mothers, ex-boyfriends
Luke: oh okay, continue.
Jess: well he had his chance but he blew it, well they lost touch for a while, and then he saw her the other day, and he remembered how much he loved her, but now once again she has a boyfriend, what do you think he should do.
Luke: and what is this friend’s name?
Jess: oh you know, Ben.
Luke: oh yeah sure, Ben. Well I guess he should talk to this “girl” and she if she has the same feelings for her.
Jess: really?
Luke: no, man she has a boyfriend, that is like messing with a married woman.
Jess: okay.

Logan: so have you found an office?
Rory: no still looking but not finding, my mom had the idea of adding on to The Dragonfly, but I told her, that I couldn’t do that to her, or me, that would be really unfair.
Logan: then where are you going to work until a place does open up?
Rory: well I can work at home or I can work at the library, or Luke said I could work up at his place.
Logan: where Jess would be?
Rory: well yeah Jess lives there, so he is entitled to be able to go upstairs, but he does work.
Logan: oh, well I think you should work at home.
Rory: at home? Why?
Logan: well I mean it is a quiet atmosphere, and if you work at Luke’s, you would be around people, and it wouldn’t be a very good work environment.
Rory: well I will be working in his apartment, not in the diner.
Logan: but…..
Lorelai walks into
Lorelai: hey hun who are you on the phone with?
Rory: Logan.
Lorelai: oh well Jess is here, he says it has something to do with the paper?
Rory: oh okay.
Lorelai walks out.
Rory: hey Logan, Jess is here, and has something to tell me about the Grapevine.
Logan: You named it The Grapevine?
Rory: yeah I thought I told you.
Logan: no you didn’t tell me that.
Rory: oh sorry, but hey I’ll talk to you later.
Logan: okay, well I love you.
Rory: bye.
Logan looks at the phone, and clicks it shut. He opens it, and dials a few numbers.
Logan: hey Honor.
Honor: Logan your calling me? What’s wrong?
Logan: it’s nice to talk to you too.
Honor: no of course it is good to talk to you, but why are you calling me?
Logan: I have to have a reason?
Honor: well most people just don’t people unless they have some sort of reason.
Logan: okay well there is a reason.
Honor: I knew it, okay spill the beans.
Logan: spill the beans?
Honor: just say what you need to.
Logan: okay, well I think Rory might have feelings for someone else.
Honor: Logan, you really think that?
Logan: no, I don’t think that, it just she seems to be spending a lot of time with this guy.
Honor: so that means she has feelings for him?
Logan: well no not necessarily, but…..
Honor: Logan, no butt’s, it doesn’t mean she likes him, maybe they are just friends, like I’m sure you have a friends that are girls, cause I have friends who are boys.
Logan: okay, I get where you are coming from.
Honor: well good, is there anything else?
Logan: well when I just got off the phone with her, i told her, that I loved her, and she just said bye.
Honor: well maybe she didn’t hear you.
Logan: I’m pretty sure I said it loud and clear.
Honor: maybe she just wasn’t ready to say it.
Logan: I don’t think so.
Honor: Logan Huntzberger, she loves you or she wouldn’t be back with you, she loves you, or she wouldn’t do a long distance relationship, god Logan, she loves you, or she wouldn’t call you, she wouldn’t talk about, or she wouldn’t even think about you.
Logan: okay, so maybe she loves me a little, but maybe she loves Jess a little too.
Honor: Jess?
Logan: it’s the other guy.
Honor: so you think that Rory loves Jess a little?
Logan: well they went out like 4 or 5 years ago she said they went out, well then like 2 years ago when Rory was taking a “break” from college, Jess came out for a visit, and he made her go back to school, not me.
Honor: okay well yeah, she will always love him, but that doesn’t mean it will be as much as you. Rory loves you Logan, she might love Jess, but it’s not as much as you.
Logan: okay thanks Honor.
Honor: don’t mention it. Okay well is everything okay?
Logan: yeah.
Honor: so can I tell you something, and you can’t go and tell mom and dad.
Logan: okay spill the beans.
Honor giggles.
Honor: okay well……
Logan: well?
Honor: I’m pregnant!
Logan: your what?
Honor: I’m pregnant.
Logan: oh my god. Congratulations.

Logan: what does Josh think?
Honor: he’s really excited, but I know he is scared, I’m thinking maybe you need to talk to him, and get some info out of him?
Logan: of course. I can’t believe it, I’m going to be an uncle.
Honor: and I’m going to be a mommy!
Logan chuckles.
Honor: I was wondering what is Rory’s number?
Logan: why?
Honor: well cause I was wondering if she would want to come to lunch with me, and possibly we could go baby shopping?
Logan: oh yeah she would love that, and then you could ask her about me?
Honor: of course.
Logan gives Honor Rory’s number.

Luke knocks on Lorelai’s door. Lorelai answers the door.
Lorelai: Hey.
Luke: are you ready?
Lorelai: almost, do you want to come in? I still have to find shoes.
Luke: so we have another 15 minutes.
Lorelai: yeah.
Luke comes in and sits down on the couch. Rory walks out of her room and sits down on the couch.
Luke: hey.
Rory: hey.
Luke: so how’s the paper stuff going?
Rory: oh it’s going good, Jess is helping out with a lot of stuff.
Luke: he is good in that position.
Rory does a little giggles.
Luke: so Rory, I was wondering.
Rory: yes?
Luke: I was thinking of seeing if your mom wants to move in together again….
Rory: oh my gosh that is so awesome.
Luke: but then how would you feel if we all lived in the same house together?
Rory: I don’t think that would be too weird, would it?
Luke: I don’t think it would be.
Rory: no.
Luke: well if it would you could always stay at my apartment.
Rory: but isn’t that where Jess would be?
Luke: yeah?
Rory: well I do have a boyfriend, and I don’t think he would be very happy about that?
Luke: oh yeah Logan, I forgot about Logan, but do you think it would be really weird?
Rory: no not at all….
Lorelai comes down stairs.
Lorelai: are you ready?
Luke: wow, you look….wow.
Lorelai: so I must look good right?
Rory: yeah mom, you look good.
Lorelai: well good, lets go.
Luke and Lorelai head for the door.

Lorelai: don’t have to big of a party!
Rory: oh you know I’ll keep it under a thousand.
Luke and Lorelai get into Luke’s pick-up.

Luke: no we are almost there.
Luke parks the truck.
Lorelai: where are we?
Luke: you’ll see, just hold on.
Luke gets Lorelai out of the pick-up they go inside. They sit down at a table.
Luke: okay you can open her eyes.
Lorelai opens her eyes.
Lorelai: oh my gosh, this is where we had our first date.
Luke: so I’m assuming that you like it here?
Lorelai: of course.
Luke and Lorelai order
Luke: hey Lorelai, can I ask you something?
Lorelai: of course you can.
Luke: I was wondering of what you would think about us moving back into together?
Lorelai: moving in together?
Luke: yeah.
Lorelai: of course.
Luke: really?
Lorelai: yeah, I’ve missed you by my side at night.
Luke: I’ve missed you too.
Luke and Lorelai kiss. It starts to rain outside.

Jess: So?
Rory: so what?
Jess: you seem really quite tonight.
Rory: oh sorry, I’m just thinking.

Rory: well Logan had this crazy idea that you like me.
Jess: wow, what a crazy idea.
Jess gets up.
Jess: want some more coffee?
Rory: is it true?
Jess: that I’m going to get some coffee?
Rory: Jess.
Jess: no it’s not true.
Rory: okay, cause that would be just weird.
Jess: really it would be that weird?
Rory: well yeah, cause just think or our history.
Jess: yeah I guess I get where you are coming from.
Lane and Zach walk in the front door of Luke’s.
Lane: Hey Rory, what are you doing here?
Rory: well Jess said he was having dinner, with you and Zach, and I thought since it has been a while that I would tag along and steal you, and we could go do something like we use to.
Lane looks at Zach.
Lane: would that be okay hun?
Zach: of course you girls go on and do some girly things.
Lane and Zach share a small kiss.
Rory: thank you Jess.
Jess: no problem.
Lane and Rory leave. Zach and Jess stare at the door for a second.
Zach: I love her so much.
Jess: me too.
Zach continues to stare.
Zach: wait what?
Jess: what?
Zach: what do you mean her too?
Jess: want some spaghetti?
Zach: that doesn’t answer my question.

Luke: I think that it is done raining.
Luke and Lorelai walk outside.
Lorelai: hey how about taking a walk?
Luke: a walk?
Lorelai: yeah, when it is done raining, and it just smells so nice, I love it.
Luke: okay a walk would be nice.
Luke and Lorelai start walking. They head over to a rose bush.
