Previously On Gilmore Girls:
Rory: oh okay, well what are you doing for Thanksgiving?
Logan: the usual go to my parents house, wait for dad, and quietly eat. Then leave and wish I never had went.
Rory: well lets mix it up a little this year?
Logan: what do you mean?
Rory: my usual routine is Lane’s, Luke’s, Sookie’s, then Grandma and Grandpa.
Logan: how are you going to mix that up?
Rory: well Mrs. Kim always makes a lot of food, cause she has a lot of relatives. Luke runs a diner he has to have more than enough food. Sookie is a chef, she makes enough food to feed the world. And Grandma and Grandpa would not mind at all squeezing you in?
Logan: okay well what about Mom and Dad?
Rory: well?
Logan: I know I will take you with me!
Rory: what?
Logan: I can take you with me.
Rory: have you gone completely nuts?
Logan: no I haven’t, they shouldn’t mind
Rory: until you tell them who you are bringing.
Logan: well then I won’t tell them!
Rory: then they will hate me even more, cause I dropped by!
Logan: no they won’t.
Rory: fine, but when in this busy schedule will we fit them in?
Logan: well we usually have dinner really late cause dad takes forever to get in.
Rory: okay Lane’s is in the morning, Sookie’s is at lunch. Luke’s is before dinner but after lunch, and Grandma and Grandpa’s is dinner.
Logan: okay then that is what we will do

Paris: Doyle is avoiding me
Rory yawns.
Rory: what?
Paris: you don’t need to act like your tired, cause that won’t get rid of me. Anyways, before I left, Doyle answer the phone to so he could say good-bye , and then now he won’t answer the phone!
Rory: Paris, he probably isn’t avoiding you, he is probably really busy since he is trying to start his own newspaper!
Paris: I know that…..
Rory: wait wait wait, Paris that’s it, Doyle is trying to open his own paper.
Paris: yes Rory, we have already established that, but that not the problem here……
Rory: he can totally help with MY paper, cause if his isn’t doing well it will do better in a small town and he can be part of my paper and like have pages to him self!
Paris: and then we would stay close since I’m working there and then he would, and you could make sure he isn’t doing anything with any of the workers.

Rory: hey mom, you know what I was trying to tell you this morning?
Lorelai: oh yeah, you never told me, what was it?
Rory: you might not be very proud of me, but.……
Lorelai: yes?
Rory: me and Logan are back together.
Lorelai looks at Rory, then at the TV.
Rory: mom?
Lorelai: yeah, sorry, well that’s great honey, really great.
Rory: mom!
Lorelai: I’m happy if your happy!
Rory: if I’m happy with someone you don’t like your still happy?
Lorelai: yes indeed.

Logan: hey sorry I’m late, are plane got in late.
Rory: oh okay, well we can go get your bags, and my mom and Paris are waiting in the car, and then from here we have to go to Mrs. Kim’s.
Rory starts to take off. Logan grabs her hand.
Logan: wait, wait, wait, what did your mom say about me and you?
Rory: oh she said I’m happy if your happy.
Logan: and are you happy?
Rory: yes of course
Logan: then so am I.
Rory and Logan kiss.
Logan: alright lets get the bags.
Rory and Logan head to baggage claim.
Rory: so what do your bags look like?
Logan: well they are black with small white lines on them.
Rory: okay, well…..
Rory and Logan watch the luggage.
Rory: oh is that one of them over there?
Logan: yeah.
Logan goes over and gets the bag and brings it back over to Rory.
Rory: how many did you bring?
Logan: only 1 more.
Rory: that’s it right there.
Logan goes over grabs it, and brings it over to Rory.
Logan: okay lets head out.
Rory: okay let me call my mom to meet us at the door.
Rory picks up her phone, dials a few numbers and holds it up to her ear.
Rory: hey mom, head to the door.
Lorelai: okay on my way.
Rory hangs up the phone.
Rory: okay we can go to the doors now!
Logan grabs Rory’s hand and they walk through the doors.

Lorelai and Paris get out of the car.
Logan and Rory stop.
Lorelai walks over to Logan. She goes to give him a hug, he goes to give her a handshake.
Lorelai: oh
Logan: sorry.

Logan: oh
Lorelai: okay then, lets head on.
Rory smiles at Logan. Lorelai grabs a bag. Followed behind Rory.
Paris: so you must have wanted her.
Logan: what?
Paris: well you came to her, she didn’t come to you.
Logan: I guess so.
Rory: are you coming?
Logan and Paris get into the car.

Luke is wiping the corner down.
Lorelai walks in followed, bye Paris, and Logan and Rory.
Lorelai: hey?
Luke: hey? What’s he doing here?
Paris looks over her shoulder.
Logan and Rory are kissing.
Paris: oh god, here they go again. I’m going to go wait in the car, get me a coffee…..
She looks back at Logan and Rory again.
Paris: black!
Lorelai: will do.
Paris walks out.
Luke: So why is he here?
Lorelai: oh well he and Rory are back together, did I tell you?
Luke: you possibly could have, but I think I would remember something like this. How are you taking it?
Lorelai: well I’m happy if she is happy.
Luke: really?
Lorelai: yes why does everyone keep asking me this?
Rory: hey Luke.
Luke: Oh Hey Rory.
Rory and Logan walk over to the counter.
Rory: You know Logan don’t you Luke?
Luke: yes I think we’ve met.
Logan goes to shake Luke’s hand.
Logan: how you been Luke?
Luke stands there a minute.
Luke: oh good.
Luke shakes Logan’s hand.
Rory: well mom we probably should head to Mrs. Kim’s.
Lorelai looks at Luke.
Luke: what time will I see you back here?
Lorelai: I’m assuming middle of the afternoon. Cause from Mrs. Kim’s we go to Sookie’s from Sookie’s we go here, from here we got mom and dad, and then Rory and Logan go to his parents.
Luke: wow quite busy.
Lorelai: definitely.
Luke: alright well I will let you go to get your day started.
Lorelai: alrighty.
Luke and Lorelai kiss.
Lorelai walks out the door followed behind Rory and Logan.
Rory: bye Luke.
Logan: nice to see you Luke.
Luke: nice to see you too.
Logan shuts the door.
Creaser walks out from the kitchen, followed by Zach.
Zach: it wasn’t nice to see him too was it?
Creaser: I could see the hate in your face.
Zach: oh look there it Is again.
Luke: get back to work.
Luke heads to the back. The door is opened. There is aloud thud.
Luke: Creaser, Zach! I told you guys to get to work, and not to play around any more.
Luke walks from the back.
He look to see what the noise is, Creaser and Zach are in the kitchen, he walks to the kitchen without paying any attention to door. Creaser is flipping something in the frying pan, and Zach is washing dishes. He heads back the back yet again without paying attention to the door. Luke hears Zach and Creaser in the background.
Creaser: what are you doing here?
Zach: it’s been along time man, what’s your name again?
Creaser: shut up stupid, if you don’t care enough to remember his name he isn’t going to remember yours.
Luke comes out from the back, heads to the front and he sees Jess.
Luke: Jess?
Jess: he Luke, I like what you did with the place, it hasn’t changed.
Luke: what are you doing here?
Jess: well I thought since it was the holiday’s you wouldn’t have anybody to spend it with you? But if you want I can go. I think my cab is still outside.
Luke: no, no, it’s fine stay.
Jess: do you mind if I take my bags up stairs? Or are you even living there? Cause a while back Rory said that you guys we’re pretty tight!
Luke: you talked to Rory? When?
Jess: oh awhile back. So can I put my stuff up stairs?
Luke: oh yeah, you sure haven’t changed.
Jess: thanks Uncle Luke, I’ll take that as a complement.
Luke chuckles.
Lorelai walks in with Rory. They are laughing.
Lorelai: hey Luke, we have a few minutes until we are actually pushing being late to Mrs. Kim’s so we thought we would come back and get some coffee.
Rory: yes coffee.
Luke looks at the door that leads up stairs.
Luke: um okay, do you want that to go or to stay, wait that was a dumb question you want it to go. Where is Logan?
Rory looks at Lorelai.
Rory: actually we we’re thinking we would have them here, and Logan is at the gazebo, he found someone who will listen to his party stories.
Luke: oh he finally met Patty?
Rory: well actually they had met before, but now she has his paws all over him.
Luke does a small nervous laugh. Luke turns around to get the coffee. Rory and Lorelai sit down Rory mouths: what is up with him? Lorelai mouths back: I don’t know! Jess comes down the stairs. He looks at Luke then at Rory.
Rory: what are you doing here?
Jess: I’m here for the holidays.
Rory: oh.
Lorelai: hi Jess, nice to see, I see you haven’t killed anyone, not in prison.
Jess: yeah you know just trying to stay out of trouble!
Lorelai: great, yeah, just yeah, Luke can I talk to you for a minute?
Luke and Lorelai head to the back.
Jess sits down on a bar stool. Rory sits down as far away as possible.
Jess: so how have you been?
Rory: oh well you know, I got a job, then got fired from it, then I got another job, and quit it, now I have a job, that isn’t doing so well and I‘m living in Stars Hollow. What about you?
Jess: well they closed down the publishing company cause we only published like 3 books a year, if we are lucky. I have no place to live, and I’m back in Stars Hollow for the time being.
Rory: how funny both of are lives suck!
Jess: you can say that again.
Rory: so?
Jess: what is this job of yours?
Rory: well I’m publishing a news paper here in Stars Hollow.
Jess: isn’t there already one, like the Stars Hollow Newspaper, or gazette or something?
Rory: yes it’s the Stars Hollow Gazette. But the editor has packed his bags and is off to find something more interesting, so someone needs to write something around here.
Jess: well if you ever need me to write anything I will definitely do it within a heart beat.
Rory: well I might have to take you up on that offer, cause so far, I’m the only one writing, well I have a friend Doyle, Paris’s boyfriend coming out to live here to help write too. And Paris will be helping when she is done with this school year.
Jess: well then tell me when and where you need me, and I will be there.
Rory: okay then.
Rory gets up to go over to sit by Jess.
Luke and Lorelai come from the back.
Lorelai: okay well Jess it was nice to see you again, I hope next time I see you it won’t be through iron bars. Rory lets go we are really late, and Mrs. Kim will be shoving tofurkey down our throats so that she can get the desert out lets go!
Rory: bye Luke. Good to see you again Jess.
Jess: you too Rory.
Rory and Lorelai leave Luke’s and go grab Logan from Miss Patty. They grab Paris who is about to punch Kirk in the nose. And they head over to Mrs. Kim’s.

A FEW HOURS PASS

Sookie: So Jess is back in town?
Lorelai looks over at Rory and Logan who is playing with Davey. She looks behind her and sees Paris playing with Martha.
Lorelai: yeah, and Rory she doesn’t have room to get her heart broken one more time.
Sookie: well does Logan know?
Lorelai: no Logan doesn’t know!
Sookie: what happens if he does?
Lorelai: well there is going to be a wrestling match, this time I hope there isn’t a house that gets trashed.
Sookie laughs.
Sookie: well what do you think, she should do?
Lorelai: well I’ve been in the situation, but not twice, at least not to my knowledge, anyways, whoever she picks, I will be happy.
Sookie: as long as it’s?
Lorelai: as it’s one of them!
Sookie: really?
Lorelai: yes, I’m happy if she’s happy.
Sookie: with?
Lorelai: Sookie!?
Sookie: Sorry, Sorry, it just seems as if you want her with neither of them, but you know that she is going to pick someone, so who would you prefer it to be?
Lorelai: Sookie, I told you that we weren’t going to go over this!
Sookie: okay fine.
Jackson walks out, with his arms black. Sookie gets up and runs over to him.
Sookie: honey, what happened?
Jackson: well I kind of blue up the kitchen.
Sookie looks panicked.
Jackson: you can go look at your kitchen.
Sookie: are you kidding?? I’m going to stay here and make sure that you are okay. Is there something I can get you from the kitchen, like bread, water, milk?
Jackson: go, I’m fine!
Sookie runs in the house. Lorelai walks over to Jackson, who is patting at his hands.
Lorelai: are you okay?
Jackson: yeah, I’m fine.
Lorelai: okay that’s good.
Jackson: thanksgiving lunch, is ruined so I hope you have somewhere else to eat than this cause otherwise you are going to have burnt crunchy stuff you don’t know what is.
Lorelai: yeah we have a few other places.
Jackson: well you probably should head on over to those other places…..
Sookie yells out the window: even the curtains are burnt!
Lorelai: I guess we better.
Lorelai: keep Sookie sane!
Jackson: I’ll try but that might be like trying to accomplish the impossible.
Lorelai laughs. She then heads over to Logan and Rory.
Lorelai: hey are you ready?
Rory: yeah, but we didn’t eat mom!
Lorelai: I know, but Jackson kind of blew up the kitchen.
Rory looks over at Jackson. Jackson waves.
Rory: yeah I guess we are ready.
Lorelai walks over to Paris. Rory looks at Logan who is sitting down on the ground.
Rory: hey Davey, come here for a minute. I’m going to leave, but I had a lot of funs with you.
Davey hugs Rory.
Davey: bye Rory!
Rory: bye Davey.
Davey goes over to his dad. Rory walks over to Logan. Logan looks up at Rory.
Rory: hey what’s wrong?
Logan: nothing.
Rory: are you sure?
Logan: yep!
Rory sits down next to Logan.
Rory: Logan what’s wrong?
Logan: nothing
Lorelai walks over.
Lorelai: well don’t you too look like Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
Rory: what?
Lorelai: you know just so cute and everything.
Rory stands up.
Rory: where did you come up with that?
Lorelai: well you know that they are having trouble so!
Rory: oh I see.
Lorelai: well shall we be on our way?
Rory: I guess we shall.
Logan stands up.
Lorelai: will you take my arm my dear?
Rory looks at Logan who is looking at Miss Patty’s Dance Studio.
Rory: sure, why not.
Rory and Lorelai hook arms, and skip down the road to Luke’s.
Lorelai: we’re off to the wizard the wonderful wizard of oz.
Rory: follow the yellow brick road.
Lorelai: follow the yellow brick road.
Paris and Logan walk behind slow.
Paris: what’s up Huntzberger?
Logan: the sky.
Paris: okay so you never say that so what’s wrong?
Logan: nothing.
Paris: what is it?
Logan: I don’t think that Lorelai likes me…..
Paris: of course she doesn’t like you, what makes you think she would, I mean you made her daughter go to jail, well sort of, but you also added to that, you made her daughter cry on more than 3 occasions, and you proposed with an ultimatum, and after I say all that would make you be her favorite person in the world or even her least favorite person in the world!
Logan: none of that, but I mean don’t you think she could at least try?
Paris: that’s just the way Lorelai is, she either likes you or she doesn’t, the only person in the whole entire world I’ve seen Lorelai try to like that she doesn’t is Jess.
Logan: the writer?
Paris: yes Jess the writer!
Logan: why what’s so great about him?
Paris: nothing better than you!
Logan: hey!
Paris: kidding, but Rory asked her.
Logan: oh Rory, the key factor in all of this.
Paris: exactly!!
Logan sighs.
Logan and Paris walk into Luke’s.
Lorelai: what took you guys so long, we have been waiting to eat for ages!
Rory: no we haven’t we just sat down.
Paris: that seems about right.
Paris sits down at the table. Luke comes from the back.
Luke: oh Paris nice to see you again, please don’t scare off any of the customers this time!
Paris: oh Luke nice to see you too, but wait is that gray hair or are you going bald?
Luke: nice game!
Paris: thanks not so bad yourself.
Logan sits down. Jess comes from the back. Jess looks at the empty table then at the table Rory is sitting down he smiles at her, and looks at Lorelai, sees Paris then Logan. Logan looks at Jess. Rory looks at Lorelai, then at Logan. Lorelai leans over to Rory.
Lorelai: if they have a bidding contest, how many boy fights will this have been?
Rory: one too many!
Lorelai: agreed! Hey Jess, is that a snake in your hair or is it just so oily that it looks like a snake?
Jess: oh you know!
Lorelai looks at Rory!
Lorelai: what is up with him?
Jess walks over to the table with a coffee pot. Logan stands up right next to him. They stare at each other. Then Rory gets up and stands between them.
Rory: well this is cozy isn’t it. Jess I’ll take some more coffee thank you. Logan can I talk to you for a sec?
Rory grabs Logan by the arm.
Logan: what is he doing here?
Rory: I don’t know, and what does it matter? We are together, and I thought that was all that did matter!
Logan: it does but…
Rory: no but’s, if it does matter than just forget Jess!
Logan sighs.
Rory: I’m really hungry and I know you are too, but you won’t be able to eat if your trying to kill him with look’s will you?
Logan: no
Rory: I didn’t think so. So lets go eat.
Rory grabs Logan’s hand and they head back over to the table.
Lorelai: lets eat.
Logan sits down followed by Rory, Luke and Lorelai. Jess walks over and there isn’t a chair. Rory looks at Logan. Logan looks at Rory.
Logan: go ahead.
Rory: thank you. Hey Jess, you can sit here, I’ll pull up a chair.
Jess: are you sure? Cause I can do that too.
Rory: yeah, I’m sure, cause you would just be bumping knee’s with my mom, and that wouldn’t be good!
Jess: okay thank you, but let me get the chair.
Rory: okay.
Jess gets a chair, and pulls it up to the end of the table.

A FEW HOURS PASSED

Lorelai: I guess we better head to grandma’s.
Rory: I guess.
Lorelai grabs her phone from her purse. She dials a few numbers and hold the phone up to her ear.
Lorelai: hey mom. Mom clam down. Mom I can’t understand you slow down.
Rory looks at Logan.
Lorelai: what? Where? Okay we’re on our way! Rory guys we got to go there is something wrong with grandpa.
Rory: what?
Logan: again?
Paris: I’ll drive!
Lorelai: wait my car is at my house, and it will take forever to get there.
Luke: I’ll take you, but I only have room for 2 people in my truck.
Jess: I have a car, that will hold 6 people including the driver.
Lorelai: would you mind letting us do that?
Luke: no not at all.
Jess: nope.
Luke: wait we can all go in Jess’s car.
Jess: if you want to be really squished!
Luke: right okay, well then, I’ll take Lorelai.
Jess: and I’ll take Logan, Paris and Rory.
Logan: umm……Luke you mind if I go with you?
Lorelai: what about me?
Logan: Luke said he had room for 2!
Lorelai: oh okay, well then yeah that will work. Lets rock and roll.
Rory: all night!
Luke: everyone out the dinner and everything is on me!!
Everyone exits.

AT THE HOSPITAL

Lorelai and Rory run to through the hospital. Emily is talking to the nurse.
Lorelai: mom!
Emily: thank god you’re here! What took so long? Hi Rory!
Luke, and the rest of them come around the corner.
Emily: oh so we are having a party!
Lorelai: well not exactly, but they got us here.
Emily: Logan?
Logan: Emily! It’s good to see you. But It’s not so good to see me?
Emily: oh no, no, it is really good to see you too, I’m just surprised to see you.
Logan: well surprise, surprise!
Emily: Luke how good to see you. Paris why what are you doing here? Aren’t you suppose to be at Columbia?
Paris: oh nothing gets past you!
Emily: Jess how great to see you.
Lorelai: so what exactly is wrong with dad?
Emily: well I don’t know we we’re getting ready for you to come over, and he was lifting some plates and they just fell.
Lorelai: so you don’t know anything?
Emily: no cause ALL OF THESE STUPID DOCTORS AND NURSES DON’T TELL ANYBODY ANYTHING!!!
Emily glares at a nurse. The nurse looks down.
Lorelai: oh well I see.
Emily: and I’m dying of hunger, and they only thing they did tell me was that he was going into emergency surgery so I would be here a while, so get comfortable!
Lorelai: okay well wow! Well do you want to get some food?
Emily: sure!
Lorelai: Luke will you go get all the food you think is good from the cafeteria?
Luke: of course.
Lorelai: Paris will you try to get some stuff out of the nurses?
Paris: you bet.
Lorelai: and you three go look for somewhere to eat.
Rory, Logan and Jess go looking.

A FEW MINUTES PASS
***************
Logan, Rory, and Jess come back to where they had ran into Emily. Lorelai and everyone else is already back.
Lorelai: so did you find somewhere?
Rory: yes we did.
Lorelai: okay lead the way.
Rory leads the way and they follow for a few minutes.
Rory: okay here we are.
Lorelai: where are we?
Rory: it’s an abandoned front desk. When we found the lights we’re out, and it looked liked nothing.
Emily: well this will do, lets eat.
Lorelai: on what?
Rory: well there is a small wooden slate over there we could set the food on that and just sit on the floor?
Emily: sounds good to me. Logan, Jess go get that thing.
Logan and Jess go and get the piece of wood the pull it to the middle of the carpet. Luke spreads some paper towels across it, and sets the food down, everyone sits down and starts to eat.
