Previously on Gilmore Girls:
Emily comes back, and hands a little envelope to Rory.
Rory opens the envelope.
Rory: oh my gosh you shouldn’t have.
Lorelai: what they get you?
Rory gets up and hugs Emily and Richard.
Emily: well we thought that since you don’t have to take a vacation, you could go for as long as you wanted, and we will pay when you want to come home.
Rory: you still shouldn’t have.
Emily: well I just thought we should.
Rory: thank you.
Lorelai: guys I still don’t know what this amazing gift is?
Rory sits down next to Lorelai.
Rory: there a first class ticket to Orange County California!
Lorelai: No Way! How many tickets??
Rory: 4 one way.
Lorelai: 4?
Rory: yeah 4.
Lorelai looks at Emily and Richard in confusion.
Emily: yes Lorelai 4, one for Rory, one for Paris, one for Lane, and one for….

Emily says sarcastically: no Lorelai for the Queen of England. Yes You!

Rory: Lane, what do you mean you don’t think you can go?
Lane: well I can’t just dump the kids on my mom, or on Zach that isn’t fair.
Rory: oh well now that you give me some more information you are right.
Lane: I want to go so bad, but I just can’t leave the kids on Zach, or my mom.
Rory: I know, I completely understand, your mother now, you don’t have time to go jump off of the Eiffel tower if wanted.
Lane: I could go, but I just don’t really want to die that way.
Rory laughs.
Lane: I’m really sorry Rory.
Rory: Lane it is okay.
Lane: are you sure, cause I feel really bad.
Rory: well don’t it will be okay, I will bring you back something cool.

Rory hangs up the phone.

Paris: so what are we going to do tonight?
Rory: I don’t know.
Lorelai: I guess we could go to a club, since this is are last night out here right?

Logan stumbles over to the bar.
Logan: can I have a scotch on the rocks please.
Logan looks over at Rory.
Logan: Rory?
Rory: Logan?
Logan and Rory: What are you doing here?
Rory: I’m here for my birthday.
Logan: Oh I’m here……I don’t actually have a reason.
Rory: that sounds like you.
Logan: so are you here by yourself?
Rory: oh no, my mom and Paris are over there.
Rory points to there table.
Logan: oh, I didn’t think you would be here by yourself, that isn’t like you. So where are you staying?
Rory: oh at The Hilton.
Logan: wow nice!
Rory: yeah my grandma and grandpa paid for the whole trip so.
The bartender brings Rory’s drink back.
Rory: well I should be going.
Logan: okay it was nice to ketch up with you.
Rory: yeah you too.

Logan: you told me it was your birthday, so I need to give you a birthday present.
Rory: Logan you don’t have to get me anything.
Logan: but I do.
Logan goes up to Rory and……..Gives her a kiss.
Logan: I needed to give that to you.
Logan heads for the elevator

She gets down and the elevator is just now opening, lots of people get off she thinks she has the wrong one until Logan walks out. She runs over to him and she kisses him.
Logan: what was that for.
Rory: it’s something I’ve been wanting to give you.

Logan laughs.
Rory: what, what is so funny?
Logan: when I came over here I had no idea that you would want to kiss me back!
Rory: well that’s what you get for thinking too much Huntzberger!

Logan sits down on Rory’s bed.
Logan: so how do you intend to tell your mom that I guess we are sorta back togheter?
Rory giggles.
Rory: I can tell my mom anything, so just like I would tell her anything else.
Logan: okay that wasn’t the answer I was looking for there Ace!
Rory sits down next to Logan.
Rory: okay then what was the answer you were looking for there?
Logan: what are we?
Rory: what do you mean?
Logan: like are we friends? Friends with benefits? Or girlfriend and boyfriend?
Rory: oh well I guess we are friends…..
Logan: with benefits?
Rory: no I would say we are boyfrined and girlfrined, unless you don’t want to be.
Logan: well, maybe we should just be friends?
Rory: oh okay. I could see why I mean…..
Rory gets up and continues to talk about why Logan doesn’t want to be her boyfriend.
Logan: Ace…….Ace…….Ace?
Rory: what?
Logan gets up, and walks over to Rory.
Logan: I was only kidding Ace.
Rory sighs with relief.
Logan and Rory kiss.
Logan: I better be getting back, I have to fill in some hours tomorrow or they won’t let me go for Thanksgiving which is in 3 days so.
Rory: oh okay, well what are you doing for Thanksgiving?
Logan: the usual go to my parents house, wait for dad, and quietly eat. Then leave and wish I never had went.
Rory: well lets mix it up a little this year?
Logan: what do you mean?
Rory: my usual rutine is Lane’s, Luke’s, Sookie’s, then Grandma and Grandpa.
Logan: how are you going to mix that up?
Rory: well Mrs. Kim always makes a lot of food, cause she has alot of relativies. Luke runs a diner he has to have more than enough food. Sookie is a chef, she makes enough food to feed the world. And Grandma and Grandpa would not mind at all squeezing you in?
Logan: okay well what about Mom and Dad?
Rory: well?
Logan: I know I will take you with me!
Rory: what?
Logan: I can take you with me.
Rory: have you gone completely nuts?
Logan: no I haven’t, they shouldn’t mind
Rory: until you tell them who you are bringing.
Logan: well then I won’t tell them!
Rory: then they will hate me even more, cuase I dropped by!
Logan: no they won’t.
Rory: fine, but when in this busy schudale will we fit them in?
Logan: well we usually have dinner really late cause dad takes forever to get in.
Rory: okay Lane’s is in the morning, Sookie’s is at lunch. Luke’s is before dinner but after lunch, and Grandma and Grandpa’s is dinner.
Logan: okay then that is what we will do
Rory: but how are you going to get to Stars Hollow?
Logan: I will fly out Wednesday, how does that sound?
Rory: perfect call me with the details!
Logan: okay.
Rory and Logan kiss.
Logan heads for the door.
Rory: hey Logan?
Logan turns around.
Logan: yeah?
Rory: I’m glad to have you call me Ace again!
Logan smiles and opens the door, to leave.
Rory sits down on her bed in shock.
The door is knocked upon.
Rory goes over to the door and opens it, it is Paris.
Rory: Paris? What are you doing up so late?
Paris: what are you doing up so late?
Rory: long story!
Paris: can I come in?
Rory: yeah of course.
Paris: was that Huntzberger in the hall?
Rory: what?
Paris: Huntzberger, I think I just saw him.
Rory: oh yeah that was him.
Paris: what?
Rory: oh well we are kind of a thing now.
Paris: again?
Rory: yes again.
Paris: that’s good for you, but I have a problem here.
Rory: what, what is the problem?
Paris: Doyle is avoiding me
Rory yawns.
Rory: what?
Paris: you don’t need to act like your tired, cause that won’t get rid of me. Anyways, before I left, Doyle answer the phone to so he could say good-bye , and then now he won’t answer the phone!
Rory: Paris, he probably isn’t avoiding you, he is probably really busy since he is trying to start his own newspaper!
Paris: I know that…..
Rory: wait wait wait, Paris that’s it, Doyle is trying to open his own paper.
Paris: yes Rory, we have already established that, but that not the problem here……
Rory: he can totally help with MY paper, cause if his isn’t doing well it will do better in a small town and he can be part of my paper and like have pages to him self!
Paris: and then we would stay close since I’m working there and then he would, and you could make sure he isn’t doing anything with any of the workers.
Rory laughs.
Rory: could you possibly give me his number so i could ask what he thinks about it?
Paris: sure.
Paris looks for a pin and writes it down on Rory’s hand.
Rory: thank you.
Paris: no problem. Okay I’m going to go to bed!
Rory: okay, me too.
Paris leaves.
Rory goes to the bathroom. When she comes back she has her clothes changed. She gets into bed she stares up at the ceiling, and smiles.
Rory: who would have thought?

THE NEXT MORNING

Lorelai: is down in the lobby getting coffee. Rory walks down the elevator. Paris is arguing with the clerk. Rory walks over to Lorelai.
Rory: is it as good as Luke’s?
Lorelai: no not at all!
Lorelai sets the cup down.
Lorelai: so how was the rest of your night.
Rory: well…..me and Logan are…….
Paris walks over.
Paris: That stupid clerk won’t let me take 2 apples for the road. Gosh the nerve of some people!
Rory and Lorelai laugh.
Lorelai: so what we’re you going to tell me?
Rory: oh, well me and Logan are sorta.……
Paris: the cab is here.
Paris and Lorelai grab their bags.
Lorelai: tell me in cab honey.
Rory hangs her head down. She grabs the coffee Lorelai had and takes a drink.
Rory: oh God!
Rory throughs it in the trash, grabs her bag and heads to the cab.

A FEW HOURS HAVE PASSED

Rory, Paris, and Lorelai are all walking into Luke’s.
Luke goes over to see if the girls need help. No body does.
Luke: so how was your trip?
Lorelai: oh well you know we saw this, we saw that, but now we’re back, and that is the best part!
Luke laughs. Luke and Lorelai kiss.
Rory: guys I’m totally exsasted, I’m going to head home.
Paris: I might take you up on the that since I’m leaving tomorrow.
Rory: oh okay.
Rory and Paris exit Luke’s.
Luke: so what was your favorite part of California?
Lorelai: hmmm? The gorgeous coffee cups!
Luke laughs.
Luke: coffee cups?
Lorelai: yeah, coffee cups, they we’re like huge, and have theses really cool designs on them!
Luke: oh so they we’re better than mine?
Lorelai: oh no, no one’s are better than yours, cause yours have my boyfriends name on them!
Luke laughs!
Lorelai: so what did you do while I was gone, besides miss me?
Luke: well, I had to team up with Ceaser and play bagel hockey against Zach.
Lorelai: OH did you win?
Luke: well we didn’t loose….
Lorelai: so you won I knew you could do it.
Luke: but we didn’t win
Lorelai: what?
Luke: well we kinda quit, right before Zach, but he wouldn’t let us win.
Lorelai: oh you guys should not play bagel hockey without me there, it is not safe for you.
Luke: and why would that be?
Lorelai: cause I’m the champion and you can’t play without the champion duh!
Luke: oh really?
Lorelai: yes!

Paris: what did Doyle say?
Rory: he said he would talk to you about it!
Paris: really?
Rory: yeah, he said he wanted to know what you thought about him about him working here.
Paris: Rory Gilmore, you are the puppet worker!
Rory laughs.
Rory: I do what I can.
Rory opens the door to her home. She smiles.
Paris: why are you smilling did you have some gas, cause could you really need to warn a girl before you do something like that, cause that just ain’t cool!
Rory laughs.
Rory: no Paris I don’t have gas!
Paris: okay that is always.…..
Kirk: Rory, is your mother here?
Rory: Hi Kirk how are you?
Kirk: that is not the problem right now Rory, I need to find your mom is she here?
Kirk goes into the house and starts looking everywhere. Rory looks at Paris.
Rory: Kirk what do you need her for?
Kirk yells back: I need her to help me with something.
Rory: with what?
Kirk yells: well I can’t tell you?
Rory: why not?
Kirk yells: cause I don’t feel comfortable discussing this with you, it’s nothing personal or anything, your just….
Rory: young?
Kirk yells: exactly!
Kirk walks down the stairs.
Rory: well what does it deal with?
Kirk: well, Babette.
Rory: what about Babette, is she okay?
Kirk: oh yeah she is fine.
Rory: well then what is it?
Kirk: I can’t tell you, I just told you that.
Rory: but…
Paris: can you tell me Kirk?
Kirk: sure, well Babette, wants to adopt another cat, but she already has 3, not including Apricot.
Paris: oh, so that is quite a pickel, and you really need Lorelai for that one.
Kirk: see, exactly, as you see Rory, you would be to young for the problem.
Kirk looks over at Rory who is about to burst out laughing. Kirk looks over at Paris.
Kirk: oh man, you tricked me.
Kirk storms out.
Rory and Paris laugh.
Rory: your pretty smooth!
Paris: duh!

A FEW HOURS LATER

Paris is asleep on the couch, Lorelai is sitting next to Rory on the floor and there is food on the coffee table. They are watching: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. The movie ends.
Lorelai: nothing is as good as the first one.
Rory giggles.
Rory: hey mom, you know what I was trying to tell you this morning?
Lorelai: oh yeah, you never told me, what was it?
Rory: you might not be very proud of me, but.……
Lorelai: yes?
Rory: me and Logan are back together.
Lorelai looks at Rory, then at the tv.
Rory: mom?
Lorelai: yeah, sorry, well that’s great honey, really great.
Rory: mom!
Lorelai: I’m happy if your happy!
Rory: if I’m happy with someone you don’t like your still happy?
Lorelai: yes indeed.
Paris: No I don’t want to sign the decleration of independence! Wait what am I saying.
Paris rolls off the couch. She wakes up real fast.
Paris: I’m going to bed.
Paris gets up stumbly and walks to Rory’s room.
Rory and Lorelai laugh.
Lorelai: with her around you don’t need television.
Rory: no never.
Lorelai: well I’m going to go to bed, what about you.
Rory: well I’m going to do a little work, then I’ll be heading that way, if I can find somewhere to sleep.
Lorelai: do you want me to stay up and help?
Rory: no it is way past your bedtime.
Lorelai: hey, I’ve been staying up way past my bedtime I bet I could stay up longer than YOU!
Rory: oh really!
Lorelai: oh yeah.
Rory: I’ll take that bet my friend.
Lorelai: oh well I don’t really think I can tonight. Sorry!
Rory: oh that’s what I thought.

THE NEXT DAY

Lorelai: Rory! Paris! Lets go, we are going to be late for picking Logan up at the airport!
Paris comes from Rory’s room followed by Rory.
Lorelai: well don’t you girls look lovely, alright out the door.
Rory: hey mom?
Lorelai: yeah?
Rory: did you find Kirk?
Lorelai: yeah, and Babette Is going to get the cat.
Rory: oh exactly what she needs.

Lorelai pulls into a parking spot in the airport.
Lorelai: okay so here is the plan, Rory you go in get Logan. Me and Paris will stay in the car, the you call when you are on your way out and we will meet you at the door, sound good?
Rory: sounds good!
Lorelai: alright head on!
Rory gets out of the car, and heads to the opening doors. She goes to looks around finds security she waits.
After while she asumes that she has the wrong place she looks around she see’s police men, dogs, and sees people going through metal dectors. She looks behind her, she sees a resturant a bar, and a small store. She goes over to the small store looks around she looks at her watch, it says a quarter past 8.
Rory mumbles: Where is he, he was suppose to get in 15 minutes ago?
She continues to look around the store. All of the sudden someone grabs Rory by the waste and picks her up. Then she is set down. She turns around in shock.
Rory: Logan?
Rory and Logan kiss.
Logan: hey sorry I’m late, are plane got in late.
Rory: oh okay, well we can go get your bags, and my mom and Paris are waiting in the car, and then from here we have to go to Mrs. Kims.
Rory starts to take off. Logan grabs her hand.
Logan: wait, wait, wait, what did your mom say about me and you?
Rory: oh she said I’m happy if your happy.
Logan: and are you happy?
Rory: yes of course
Logan: then so am I.
Rory and Logan kiss.
Logan: alright lets get the bags.
Rory and Logan head to baggage claim.
Rory: so what do your bags look like?
Logan: well they are black with small white lines on them.
Rory: okay, well…..
Rory and Logan wacth the converabelt.
Rory: oh is that one of them over there?
Logan: yeah.
Logan goes over and gets the bag and brings it back over to Rory.
Rory: how many did you bring?
Logan: only 1 more.
Rory: that’s it right there.
Logan goes over grabs it, and brings it over to Rory.
Logan: okay lets head out.
Rory: okay let me call my mom to meet us at the door.
Rory picks up her phone, dials a few numbers and holds it up to her ear.
Rory: hey mom, head to the door.
Lorelai: okay on my way.
Rory hangs up the phone.
Rory: okay we can go to the doors now!
Logan grabs Rory’s hand and they walk through the doors.
