Previously on Gilmore Girls:
Emily: Richard? do you think that we should have the girls over for Friday night dinners again, now that Rory is coming back?
Richard: well I don’t know Emily, whatever satisfies you.
Emily: well that does not help me any!
Richard: I’m so very sorry but I must go!
Emily: where too?
Richard: to the office I will only be gone for a couple of hours at the most.
Emily: fine!!
Richard: good-bye.
Richard goes and give Emily a kiss.

Flight Attendant: Thank you for choosing North Bond please come again.
Rory gets up and grabs her bag and heads for the exit. She heads for security, and doesn’t see her mom, she looks around, and then looks at her phone, she assumes that her mom is running late. She knows the bags wont be in intil another 45 minutes or so, since it is such a small airport, So she heads to a simple little cocktail bar. She takes a seat at the bar and looks around, she notice’s that everyone seems to be around 20 years older than her.

Lorelai: okay, before we go home, I have to ask you a question, and I want you to tell me okay?
Rory: okay fine, whats the question?
Lorelai: what are you going to do with all the money?
Rory sighs.
Rory: mom, I thought you said you knew.
Lorelai: I still do know, but do you know?
Rory: I don’t really have any idea what that means.
Lorelai: it means that, yes I know, and you may think you know, but will you admit that you are going to take a risk?
Rory: what kind of risk?
Lorelai: that’s something you have to find out for on your own. But what are you going to do with all that money?
Rory: I’m going to…… I’m going to open my own business.
Lorelai: see there you go, that’s what I was looking for.

Rory heads for baggage claim she gets there she’s waiting all the luggage is going around on the little conveyer belt. She sees one of her bags she goes over and gets it. She sees another one she grabs it. She sees the big one she goes over to grab it, but she can’t it’s a little more heavier than she anticipated, but someone comes over to help. He sets it down on the ground.
Rory: thank you so much.
She looks up to see who had helped her, and it is……….

Rory looks up to see who had been so kind enough to help her, and it is…..and it is Logan Huntzberger. Her expression changes from surprised, to sad, to glad, to almost mad, but she hides the feeling well enough your not for sure.
Rory: Logan? What are you doing here?
Logan: Rory? What are you doing here?
Rory: well I’m coming back from…….
Logan: From Paris just had to go again?
Rory: No. I’m coming back from The WIM.
Logan: The WIM?? What we’re you doing there?
Rory: well I was working, but not anymore. But I need to go and you still didn’t tell me why you we’re here.
Logan: oh I’m here…..
Rory: you’re here for?
Rory’s phone rings. She grabs it looks at it.
Rory: it’s my mom.
Logan: oh okay.
Rory: we’ll maybe we can finish the convorsation over dinner?
Logan: okay.
Rory: where are you staying?
Logan: oh somewhere in Hartford.
Rory: okay we’ll great I will call you, is your number still the same?
Logan: yeah, it is.
Rory: okay great call you later.
Rory answer’s her phone. And starts to walk off.
Rory: yes mom, I’m sorry……I’m coming, okay bye.
Rory looks back and waves bye.
Logan goes over to a bench to sit down.
Logan mumbles: what am I doing? I’ve lost my mind I need to leave.

Rory is throughing her stuff in the back of the jeep. Rory sits down and looks at her mom. Lorelai pulls the key out of the engine and says spill.
Rory: you are never going to guess who I ran into, in there.
Lorelai: who?
Rory: LOGAN!
Lorelai: Logan? No way?
Rory: Yes way, and he was asking why I was there, and I just said cause I quit, but we are suppose to have dinner tomorrow.
Lorelai: that’s great honey, but…
Rory: there is always a but.
Lorelai: on every man, living animal, or plant, but this but doesn’t spit out things
Rory: mom!
Lorelai: sorry, anyways, but didn’t you say you we’re going to move on?
Rory: yes mom, and I still can all I’m doing is having dinner, what more is going to happen?
Lorelai: honey, just be careful.
Rory: okay mom.
Lorelai starts the car and they drive off.

Sookie is picking up clothes around the house.
Martha: Mommy?
Sookie: yes honey?
Martha: can me and Davey go outside to play?
Sookie: no, Davey is still to hurt to go outside and play.
Martha hangs her head down.
Martha: okay.
Martha walks away. Sookie watches her, and does a small painful smile. Jackson walks in.
Jackson: hey honey.
Sookie turns around in comfort.
Sookie: hey, what are you doing home so early?
Jackson: well Doose’s is running low on pumpkins so I thought I would come home and get a few little pumpkins to take and a few big ones as well.
Sookie: oh okay.
Martha comes bolting from her room.
Martha: DADDY!!
Jackson turns around and grabs Martha in his arms.
Jackson: Martha!
Martha: what are you doing home?
Jackson: I have to get some pumpkins.
Martha: for what? Halloweenie isn’t intil a long time.
Jackson: I know Halloweenie isn’t for a long time, but Taylor needs some.
Martha: oh can I help?
Jackson looks at Sookie. Sookie has a smile on her face.
Sookie: sure why not.
Martha does a quite scream and runs to her room.
Sookie looks at Jackson.
Sookie: she loves to go help you.
Jackson: she loves to help you in the kitchen too.
Sookie: I know. Well I better go help her pick out some “okay” clothes.
Jackson: I guess you better.
Jackson gives Sookie a kiss.
Sookie heads to Martha’s room.

Richard comes in searches throught the mail and picks the newspaper up.
Emily: Richard, I didn’t hear you come in. Have you been here long?
Richard: no just came home.
Richard goes into his study and sits down and opens the newspaper.
Emily follows behind like a puppy dog.
Emily: well how did the meeting go with Jason?
Richard: good, very well in fact.
Richard turns the paper to his newspaper.
Emily: well?…. Could you elaberate some?
Richard: he just wanted to know if I would want to ever go back in to business with him, cause he is finally starting a new business, and would love to have me help.
Emily: well I know that you told him no.
Richard sits there in silence and continues to flip through the paper.
Emily: Richard, you told him no didn’t you?
Richard still has no reply.
Emily: Richard?
Richard: I told him I would have to think about it.
Emily: what is there to think about?
Richard: I might want to go into business with him.
Emily: why? You have already done that, and it only leads to no good.
Richard: I only told him I would think about it. And that is the same as what I’m telling you.
Emily: Richard Gilmore!

Lorelai enters Luke’s.
Luke: hey where is Rory? Did she already flea you?
Lorelai: no! she is at Miss Patty’s talking.
Luke: oh and you couldn’t talk to? That is so unlike you.
Lorelai: no I could talk, but then I wouldn’t be abel to kiss you in front of Rory.
Lorelai walks behind the counter and they kiss.
Luke: oh I see.
Rory walks in.
Rory: oh gosh, I did not need to see that.
Lorelai: see what I mean?
Luke laughs.
Luke: so what can I get you ladies?
Lorelai goes to sit down.
Luke: oh wait I know.
Luke disappears in the kitchen.
Lorelai: obviously he knew what we wanted.
Rory: well it wouldn’t be the first time.
Lorelai: I guess not.
Rory: So how is Sookie.
Lorelai: well.
Sookie walks into Luke’s with Davey walking behind her.
Lorelai: speak of the devil herself.
Sookie looks over.
Sookie: RORY!!
Rory gets up to go hug Rory.
Sookie: what are you doing here.
Rory: I’m back.
Sookie: your back on vacation or your back for good?
Rory: I’m back for good.
Sookie: oh I’m so glad.
Rory looks down at Davey and squats.
Rory: Hey Davey.
Davey: hi Rory.
Rory: did you miss me?
Davey: yeah. I’m mad at you too.
Davey turns his back to Rory.
Rory: you are? Why?
Davey: cause you left and I couldn’t play with you.
Rory does a small giggle.
Rory: oh I’m so sorry. But I’m back so I can play with you.
Davey: okay that is good, cause now we can get my sister for making me do this.
Davey lifts his head.
Rory: oh my what did you do?
Davey starts to tell Rory all about his stitches story.
Sookie: what is she doing back?
Lorelai: oh she quit her job at The WIM, and has over 2,500,000 dollars.
Sookie: What?
Lorelai: yeah that’s what I siad.
Sookie: how did she get it?
Lorelai: her dead great grandmother left it to her!
Sookie: no way that is hard to believe.
Lorelai: yeah.
Sookie: but that still doesn’t explain why she is back here in Stars Hollow?
Lorelai: oh it will tonight are you coming to the town meeting?
Sookie: I guess I should to find out why she is here.
Lorelai: I guess so.

Kirk is moving chairs around to make room for more people. People are chatting loudly!
Kirk is fretting, and takes place behind the desk:

No one pays attention, but Kirk continues to talk.

Suddenly, he frowns, for there are three more arrivals, three guests that were not invited indeed. Luke and Lorelai, however, sit discreetly at the far end of the room, but Rory crosses it entirely and sits at the front row.
Taylor: What on Earth are you doing here?
Rory with a mischief smile: I’m a journalist, you know! And when a so much big issue is concerned, I must take note and inform all the inhabitants of Stars Hollows what it is all about!
Taylor: But it’s preposterous; you cannot do that to me!
Rory: Of course, I’m not. I’m doing it to the Stars Hollow!
Kirk: But you can’t!
Miss Patty: Shut up Kirk, Go on honey!
Taylor: But she’s the issue! She cannot write about herself!
Rory: It’s beginning to get interesting
She jots down a few notes.
Taylor: What are you writing down?
Rory: You’ll read it at the News Paper tomorrow! If I say it now, what will be the point to publish a paper?
Taylor: But that’s impossible!
Rory: Why?
Taylor: Because we haven’t discuss the matter!
Rory: What matter?
Taylor: Your journal things, here in Stars Hollow!
Rory: Yes, so what! All that will be discussed tonight will be written down, and at the disposal of reader tomorrow. Thats why I’m here!
Taylor: But I’m the Mayor of the town, young lady, and as the Mayor of the town, I haven’t given you all the authorizations for…
Rory: So you have changed the constitution, the right of the press, the right to write everything…
Taylor: Don’t play funny words with me, young lady!
Rory: Yes that what I’m saying. That was very funny when you made Kirk destroy Luke’s cantina. You put everyone before the fait accompli. You decided something, and consulted no one for that! You made the whole population in danger… Someone could have been killed! That’s the reason for the forth power, the power of the press, to say everything in order to prevent despotism acting… So now, we can begin the talking…
Lorelai: That’s my girl! The defender of the poor, and the oppressed, and the destroyed dinners…
As Rory was speaking Taylor’s face turned many colors. But as soon as Lorelai said the last words Taylor’s face turned bright red. But he went on with other matters.

Rory picks up her phone to dial.
Rory: Logan?
Logan: Rory?
Rory: yeah sorry, you just sound so different.
Logan: oh.
Rory: well I was calling to find out where you wanted to have dinner tomorrow?
Logan: oh well, I’m sorry to tell you this, but I’m back in L.A.
Rory: what?
Logan: after I told you that I wanted together to have dinner with you…..
Rory: yeah?
Logan: my dad called and said I needed to come back for an important meeting that was mandatory.
Rory: oh okay.
Logan: I’m sorry.
Rory: no it’s okay I understand.
Logan: well I probably should go.
Rory: oh okay, well can yo….
Logan: hey I got to go.
Rory: oh bye.
Logan: bye.
Rory hangs up her phone. She looks around her room. She can’t believe it.
She lays down on her bed, a tear rolls down her face.

Lorelai runs and jumps on Rory’s bed followed by Paul Anka.
Lorelai: good morning Sunshine.
Rory turns over to look at her clock it says 7:45 a.m.
Lorelai: so I was thinking that today we could…..go looks for a place for your new office. Then I would leave you girls to go do some stuff, plus I have to go work sometime. How’s that sound?
Rory: wait a minute what girls?
Lorelai: well you.
Rory: okay?
Lorelai: Lane….
Rory: and?
Lorelai: Paris!
Rory: what Paris is here?
Lorelai: yeah I told her to come in last night when you announced your paper!
Rory: but still that doesn’t mean she could be here!
Paris: yes it does.
Paris walks into Rory’s room.
Rory gets up and hugs Paris.
Paris: I can’t believe you didn’t tell me what you we’re going to do with all that money.
Rory: I’m sorry.
Paris: it is fine, but we are going to have to go find you an office, plus me your co-writer.
Rory: wait a minute how did you know I was going to ask you?
Paris: cause you told me on the phone that you would tell me when you we’re ready for my part and I just assumed, that you we’re ready.
Rory: okay I’m ready. But what about school?
Paris: well my mom and dad only pay by the semester, and the end of a semester is coming up, so I will just talk to them and they should be okay, cause they have to be sick of paying.
Rory: are you sure?
Paris: yeah.
Rory: okay.
Paris: but you will only have to do the business for a little bit.
Rory: okay.
Paris: plus if you need me to fly out here, I can fly anytime.
Rory: okay, but what are you going to do about after school? Where are you going to live?
Paris: I can look for a house out here.
Rory: okay this is going to work.
Paris: of course it is going to work. Why wouldn’t it?
