Good News!    Scouting just got a tax break!

This week your leader should have a receipt for you. The federal government has implemented a Child Fitness Tax Credit, and the Scouting program qualifies as a permissible activity. The receipt you receive should be for the amount of your registration fee (we are not allowed to include other amounts). Simply enter the amount on line 365 of your Federal Schedule 1. If you have more than one child with us, then add up all the receipts. You should receive a benefit of $25 to $40 depending on your tax bracket. Congratulations!
