Ray downing Jr Family has suffered a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are out with him and his entire family. I met ray this year but he is a great guy and always fun to chat with. Some people don't like how he races but off the track he is a great guy. Not everyone can be perfect on the track if I say so myself no one is perfect on the track. but my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his whole entire faimly.

RIP Keith Comiskey #03 SK
He may not be a limited Sportsman Driver but he is a fellow competitor at Thompson speedway and Waterford Speed bowl. I say On behalf Of the Limited Sportsman #49 Team. We send out thoughts and prayers of this Driver. And his memory will never be forgotten. I hope everyone who read this agrees he will be missed in the racing community. I hope the best wishes to his entire family. I hope Thompson Does something nice for him Thursday Aug 4th. Seeing he is a competitor at the speedway. Same for Waterford.
We lost another family member of racing Denise Dion has passed away. She died after just turning 40 years old. She was amazing women. And care lots about the sport. Especially when it came to her brother Ken Barry. I was with her down at Wall stadium last year when my My good friends dad was working for Ken Barry. Through them I got to know her well. and down there she was really energetic about the racing. When Reggie took out ken she shot right up and was all over nascar about letting the win go to him. She will never be forgot by me and I'll never forget the times I've had with her at Thompson, Wall and more. I send my wishes out to Wayne and Art and there entire family. Because Wayne was a child hood hero of mine.

But then Rich barry 09, Jay Sundeen 6, Danny Cates 26, and Julius Pepin 66, Wreck. And Quote from Gerald "I'm bringing my old car next week and if Kenny is there I'm gonna slam him" so Thursday will be interesting I'm not getting involved on either side because they both are my friends. Well Kenny was parked and so was Gerald. but he rejoined the field a lap down. Lap 8 The 19 moved into the lead Larry into 2nd. And the 98 moved into 10th. Lap 10 the 36 Scott Sundeen moved into 9th. Ok I got my camera cable and they will be loaded up later. But I have to say this feature was the best I have ever seen. Some of the guys I talked to were not so happy. But I'm coming from the stand point The Car I help Weekly John Berchem Finally scored a top 5 We have waited all season. But the scales where off this week. It was 25 pound off. and so Larry Barnett was DQ'ed in the heat race for being "to light". But he wasn't to light the scales were off. He was shocked to get this finish. And Also to see Cavanaugh take down the heat win and finish 3rd in the feature. Well the Race started with Kevin taking a huge jump on the start. I kind of think he jumped the start but also Mike could have started to late. Who knows but Kevin lead the early part of the race. The 51 of Brian Blaise moved into 4th. And Danny Cates Moved into 5th. On lap 3 Scott SUNDEEN moved into 8th and Glenn Boss moved into 9th. Lap 4 Chris broke and parked. Lap 5 Glenn Moved into 7th. Lap 7 the 99 of bill slowed. and lap 9 John Berchem Moved into 3rd place pass Kevin Bowe Lap 10 Glenn Boss moved into 5th.Lap 11 He was up to 4th. Lap 13 saw the 6 spin but no caution. Lap 14 he passed Johnny for 3rd. And Scott Sundeen moved into 6th. Lap 17 Glenn Passed Cavanaugh For 2nd.

I will not be there next week sorry everyone. also more bad new the note book is gone again Grr I really need to keep track of things. well from what my pictures show Walt Hovey, Charlie poulin who made his return the track, Scott Sundeen, Bill Banfill had troubles on the track getting spun but it went green to checkered Matt smith also spin but with all of that a caution nor a wreck happened where it involved a car hitting the wall. But there was also some good side by side racing between Steve Kenneway and Larry Barnett. Talking to Larry after the race he said "i gotta talk to Steve for the laps we raced he raced me clean never touched. I slide up and took his line but he gave me a good clean run its not always a good side by side race for a few laps like that." and it is true. well pics will be uploaded asap
