Landing Services

For new Canadians arriving, we are offering the following services to assist in the settlement and adaptation to a new country and culture (subject to availability and sufficient notice):

Airport Pickup	A representative of our office will greet new arrivals at the airport upon other their arrival. Transportation will be arranged from the airport to accommodations, which can also be pre-arranged. Upon arrival in a new country, assistance at this, earliest stage of arrival can be comforting.
Accommodations	Short term: a representative will arrange suitable accommodation for the nights immediately following arrival in Canada. Long term: a chance to learn more about what the client prefers, a more permanent residence will be located in accordance with budget which is agreed upon. The location of suitable schooling nearby may be a consideration for those clients arriving with children.
Banking	If bank accounts have not yet been established, a representative will assist the client in establishing bank accounts, and obtaining automated banking cards.
Social Insurance Number	A representative will assist the client in completing the forms necessary for obtaining a social insurance number, and will accompany the client to a Human Resources Development Canada office for filling of the application.
Health Care	On a social insurance number has been obtained, and a long-term address has been established, a representative will accompany the client to complete an application for provincial health care.
Driver’s license	Information how to obtain “Driver’s License” and an introductory booklet on Road Safety Requirements. We can also book appointments for you take driving lessons immediately on arrival.
Job Search Facilities	Preparation of Resume prior to arrival and submission of the same on site as soon as you are ready to apply for jobs personally. Local address, fax, email and recorded messages taken for the receiving of replies to you resume submissions.
Community Center	A representative will assist the client in locating the closest community center, and will familiarize the client with services offered at such
Public Transportation	A representative will provide the client with a map and brief familiarization with the available public transportation systems available in the area.
Orientation	The client will be taken on a tour of the area in which they will be residing. They will be provided with guidance regarding the use of public transport in the area, locations of places of worship for their faith, locations where they can buy groceries, and where foods that they may be familiar with can be found (ethnic grocery stores).

Our staff will spend time with our clients to explain the details outlined in the various jobs available that would suit their skills, education and experience.

It is extremely important that you plan your transition to the new way of life carefully and patiently.

If you use our landing service, we will pick you up from the airport, arrange for your accommodation on advance, take you for your health card and SIN (Social Insurance Number) card formalities and help you prepare your resume and circulate it prior to your arrival, pay your rental deposit and other deposits required to secure your accommodation in advance. We will also introduce you to our bankers (CIBC Bank) and assist you in obtaining Debit Card, Credit Card and Saving/Checking accounts immediately. Please note these services are usually booked soled 3 months in advance and are not included in our regular Visa Consultancy Fee. Please call for rates and availability.
