Rivendell is in the process of introducing a couple of new bicycles designed for 650B wheels. First off will be the Saluki - a diamond framed rough stuff/general purpose bike. Two models of the Saluki are being made available, one designed around cantliever brakes and the other using centerpulls. John Price's stunning Saluki. Todd Teachout's 62cm Saluki Douglas Brooks' mostly traditional Pewter Saluki Joe Szokoli's big orange, very French looking, Saluki Tim Rangitsch's Saluki with a Rivendell lugged stem and dual lights running from a generator hub. Oooh, Steve Frederick's Saluki (in my size, no less.) Steve Palinscar's 60cm Saluki in green with Berthoud bags. Their next 650B bikes will be a matched set of mixte frames called the Glorius and Willbury. These models are in addition to their beautiful custom frames, which I'm sure that they'll build for 650B wheels if you wish. Just about any custom builder can build a 650B wheeled bike. Whether or not they will
is another matter. Most custom builders would probably look at
you like you'd grown another head. Some, though, might be more
