Highlights to check out:
5 Tool Blog - A recent post, which I realize is about as common as a
jackalope sighting, on the summer struggles of Braves reliever Rafael Soriano.
Adjusted Wins - Still an ongoing project, but 5 of the 6 BCS conferences are up, with only the Big East to go.
And my newest endeavor:
Beyond The Boxscore - Using the geniuses at Football Outsiders as a model, I will be charting the Georgia Bulldogs' 2007 season and relaying the stats to you. The name says it all. It's the information that you can't find within the confines of a boxscore, play-by-play, or any other game recaps available. How often does UGA run a 3 receiver set? Which defender has the most kill-plays (plays that result in turnovers or send the offense to 4th down)? Which running back has the best success rate? Which receivers have the best catch %? The information, all of which is due up by Friday afternoon - but some of which is up now - can be found here.
And don't be a stranger - make sure to visit the guestbook and give me some feedback. As long as it's constructive, it's very welcome!
