With Tiger L and Honey Bee as his parents, need I say more?  Look at all the ARMCH's in his lineage!  Look at all the milking stars and milking accomplishments!  He looks more and more like his daddy every day (Tiger, you will be missed for a long time!).   His first daughters are KNOCKOUTS!  5 Acre Farm Sweet November *D and Killer Bee (aka KB), gave us sextuplets last year, 4 boys, 2 girls.  The 2 girls are tremendous!  (see the Jr does, Sweet Tart and Lady Wanna Bee)  Lady Wanna Bee won Reserve Grand Champion Junior Doe at an ADGA show in New Boston, NH this June, 2008.  Woohoo!!!!  They are wide, looooong, and very level.  Their ribs are flat and wide, necks are long, feet are straight.  I just couldn't ask for anything more.  This boy is IT!  I can't wait for his daughters to freshen next spring.  We've had more kids born this year sired by KB and they are extremely nice too.  It's tough having to wait for the daughters to freshen to really brag on a buck.  But being a son of Tiger L and Honey Bee I think gives me some bragging rights.  So, brag, brag, brag.  Check out 5 Acre Farm KB's Lady Wanna Bee next spring for first freshening pictures.  And watch out for her in the junior doe showring this year!!!!

With a grandsire like Weisbaden and a granddam like Twink's Pixie, this little boy is the 'total package'!  This buck's doe kids have been tremendous; long, level, and wide.  One of his first doe kids (5 Acre Farm Summer Dream)  has kidded with an outstanding first freshening udder, which only proves his potential to throw great mammaries along with the rest of the 'total package' deal.

Immie is a great buck.  I've yet to see a daughter of his with a poor or even mediorce udder.  He truly is an 'udder buck'.  While he may always be the 'bridesmaid and never the bride' in the showring, Immie is showing his true colors thru his offspring, and in the milkpail.  And that is 'the measure of a buck'

Summer Dream is the first of my SummerKnight kids to kid.  Her udder development is not disappointing.  For having a single kid, she has a very capacious udder and gives alot of milk.  Her attachments are right on, not a single complaint there!  I do wish her teat placement was a little more centered on the halves, but I rate her udder an B+!!  I am extremely pleased with her milk production and mammary system this first kidding.  Way to go Dream!

Forgive the picture, she was just clipped and none to happy that she also had to pose for pictures!  But she has grown into a beautiful yearling.  Immie sure gives his kids width and good legs, and Spice Girl is no exception.  Spice Girl kidded on 3/23/09 with a single buck kid.  So far, Spice Girl's udder is on the small side, but she only had a single kid, so I will give her time.  She is very easy to milk, with nice sized, easily milked teats.  It can only get better!

Dam:  Rosasharn's UMT B'Udder Milk 3*D AR 1996

DOB 4/20/07

Died:  April 29, 2009

'Tigger' was the daughter of the infamous "Tiger L", and great granddaughter to the equally infamous ARMCH Goodwood Tom Thumb+*S 'E' (on both sides), granddaughter of ARMCH Rosasharn Under My Thumb +*S, and daughter to 'Milky' Rosahsarn's UMT B'Udder Milk, who lived up to her name.  She was a gold and white doe, long, level, and extremely correct and dairy.  No more kids from Milky, as she went to the 'Rainbow Bridge' last summer.  This was the only kid I have from Milky.  She was bred to her uncle, Rosasharn SS WaterColour *S for spring, 2009 babies.

We lost Tigger today, 4/29.  We had done an emergency c-section on the evening of 4/28, as Tigger was prolapsing.  We didn't have an exact due date on her, and unfortunately, the kids were too early to survive.  Tigger's prolapse problem only got worse, and today, it was so bad, that tissue had already started dying.  Tigger was in extreme pain from the prolapse, and there was no certainty that the proplapse could be fixed and not return.  So, I decided to end her pain and let her go.

I remember so vividly the day Tigger was born.  I was driving home from my contractor's office in Worcester after signing a contract to have our house rebuilt after the fire in 2007.  My good friend, Rebecca Wilson was on hand to witness the kidding.  We were a little disappointed that Milky had only one kid, but was ecstatic that it was a girl.  I decided to name her something to honor her sire, ARMCH Rosasharn's Tiger L, so she became Eye of the Tiger, aka Tigger.  She was a bottle baby, as her dam was sold and went to a new home.  She loved to come into the trailer where we were staying and hop around on all the furniture.  She was quite a nuisance and wouldn't be ignored!  She wanted her bottle.  She loved to be petted under her neck and would stand for a long time to enjoy that pleasure.

It's been only 24 hours since you left us Tigger, and the hole in our hearts is immense.  You can never be replaced, you will never be forgotten.  We have placed you near the pear tree with your babies to rest.  You will always be remembered and live on in our hearts and memories.  Rest well, my sweet, sweet, Tiggy.

This is my 'George's' girl.  On the small side (so was her sire Peeaire).  Look at the width between those hocks, and the nicely curved escutcheon.  She's a 2nd freshener now, but I don't have a picture of her udder,(yet) but it is tightly socked on.  She had small, hard to milk teats on her first freshening, but they're much better this time around.   Thankfully, her doe kids are an improvment; (Spice Girl) and her second freshening doe kid, Patent Pending (aka Paddy).  GeorgiaBrown has her sire's blue eyes, she's stunning to behold!

Her doe kid from this year, Alyssa's Goat (yes, that's her barn name.  My granddaughter has named her 'Goat', I just added the Alyssa's to it. Her registered name is Legally Tender) is a perky little doe, and what an appetite!  And what a mixture of colors.  I have no idea what her color pattern is.  She is roan in the front, chamoisee on the back, and looks like she might be buckskin under all that.  I'll have to wait til she's older to figure it out.  But she's a nice, dairy kid.  I'm sorry to see Georgia Brown go, but she's given me 3 beautiful daughters to carry on for her and her dam, Georgia Peach.  Georgia Brown's udder is to die for.  Completely proportional for a doe of Georgia Brown's size, plenty of capacity, and attachments that just don't let go.

We lost Rosasharn WaterColour, on Saturday, January 31st, 2009.  We don't know why, he was fine in the morning and early afternoon, but was gone at nighttime chores.  There were no obvious signs of injury or disease.

WaterColour, you left us too soon!  We will forever miss you!  But we know you will live on thru your daughters and sons.  You are free to roam around the Rainbow Bridge with those from 5 Acre Farm who have gone on before you.    Rest well, my friend.

His first freshening daughters have superb udders, great attachments.  He does wonderful things for his daughters, not only in conformation, but also in the milk pail.  His daughters are now on DHI milk test.  I expect great things from his progeny, because with genetics like his, who could ask for more?  His daugher, 5 Acre Farm Summer Sweet Emily won her first leg as a first freshener in New Boston this summer.  Another first freshening daughter can really put it in the pail.  He has several other junior daughters that have done extremely well in the show ring.

Died:  December 8, 2008  George, we will miss you always!

Sad news.  Georgia Peach died in her sleep this morning.  She was strong and rambunctious almost to the end.  Yesterday she did not want to come out of the barn and last night did not come out for her usual bowl of hay extender and grain.  So, last night I put her in the milking barn with a heat lamp and warm water, and a young buckling to keep her company.  She was not up this morning, but was laying down and was sleeping peacefully.  Later this morning, Eric checked on her and she had passed.  She did not suffer at all from what I witnessed, which is very important to me.  I am very thankful for the time she spent with us, and the daughter and granddaughter that will continue her legacy.  George was a goat unlike any other I have ever had.  She was like my 'barn manager' in the doe pen.  She ruled the pen.  And she did it magnificently, with style and poise.  She will be greatly missed.

'Missy' was the first doe born at our farm.  She's been spoiled, and hasn't shown any signs of growing out of it!  Missy would make a great brood doe, and because of her genetics, can pass on those genetics to her kids.  Missy is very level, with a wide escutcheon.  But I'd like to see stronger side udder attachments, and a stronger MSL.  She's very stingy with her milk, although she was able to feed quads with no problem.  I think it's just her spoiled character coming thru on the milking stand.  I have retained her daughter from 2006, 5 Acre Farm Irresistible (sired by Rosasharn SS WaterColour) and looks like she is an improvement over her dam, which is again, what we breed to do.

What can I say about this buck.  His daughters have great mammaries.  And they can really put it in the milkpail too.  Starbuck is long and level, with sharp withers.  He was classified by Alice Hall as VG (89)  in 2004.  Starbuck went to his new home On Friday, September 5th to pass on his great genetics at a new farm.  Good luck Starbuck!

He's built very much like his dam's sire, ARMCH Twin Creeks WB Fire Storm*S E.  He's got the good traits from KB and Firestorm.  He's a shiny jet black with a few white spots.  He's tall, long, level and wide, everything I want to see in a buck.  His dam's udder is a dream to milk, and boy, she can put it in the pail, even as a first freshener having only a single kid.  She's on milk test and hopefully can earn her star soon. (see won her star as of November, 2008!!)  Storm Trooper's half sister, 5 Acre Farm Lady Wanna Bee, took Reserve Grand Champion Junior Doe at the ADGA show in New Boston this year (2008).  If that's any indication of what KB can do for his kids, look out!!!
