Phew, I can’t believe the genetics behind these two!  They have already proven themselves not only in the milkpail, but by the kids they put on the ground!  Lady Killer Bee (we affectionately call him KB), has given us a number of outstanding kids (one set of sextuplets in 2007, 4 boys, 2 girls)!  And boy, are they ever looking good!  The sextuplets’ dam (5 Acre Farm’s Sweet November, *D  AR2002) has won several firsts and seconds, and in 2006 won Best Udder!  We expect great things from this line! 

Ilean gave us a single buck kid last year out of Dragonfly TA Lancelot du Lac, (a Raising Arizona grandson) and is now a herdsire in Maine.  And boy can Ilean milk, just like her dam and granddam.  Ilean earned her milking star as a first freshener!   Ilean fills the milkpail, milking down to nothing!, no excess ‘meat’ in her udder!  And by the looks of her this year, she has more than one kid in there.  Sextuplets perhaps?  Ah, we'll just have to wait and see.

We are very thankful to Anne Petersen for letting these 2 outstanding goats come to 5 Acre Farm to help us improve our herd.
