I am currently selling two 1959 edsels. I will talk about a possible deal on buying both cars if you're interested.
both cars are located in Brookpark, Ohio / The zip code is 44142
The first car is a Black 1959 Edsel Ranger, Four Door Sedan. The engine is 292 cu, with a three speed transmission with the shifter on the column.
The Ranger in original condition, and needs restored, but it's a very good candidate for a resto, frame seems solid as do the floor boards. The motor turns over and has oil but won't start, I hooked up a battery to it and tried to start it, it turned over but was'nt getting spark, so it may need points and condesor (probably new plugs too) But all engine components are present and seem functional. As for the body, it is solid overall no visible rust through, alot of surface rust and small scratches. It does have some bondo in it, I noticed in the trunk floor and on the rear area of the rocker panel/dogleg area. All the trim is present and all lights and lenses are there as well as the original hubcaps. All windows are present and not cracked and rollup and down nicely, All doors open and close nicely except drivers rear door, doesn't stay closed latch may need adjusted. The interior is decent, could use a good cleaning, the driver side area on the front seat is ripped and there a couple small holes in the headliner, the door panels are decent. I am asking $2900.
The second car is a Cream 1959 Edsel Corsair, Four Door Sedan. The engine is a 361 with an automatic transmission.
The Citation is in good original shape, is a complete car, 361 cu automatic, All engine components are present, engine turns over but also wont start. The interior is original and very nice and clean, seats are nice, the door panels are nice and clean, and headliner is very nice, still looks new. All windows are nice and roll up and down, and all doors close like new. Floor pans seems solid as does the frame, body seems and looks solid, it’s a decent driver right now, with a coat of paint and little motor work it would be very sharp. I’m asking $3800 for it.
