Memories of first meeting: Starting at the back with all the reds; Goldin, Moodie, Sworder, Kitson and the Dutch star drivers.

Major Successes: Getting my first points at Mallory Park. Scoring 8 points and winning the Grade Award at Hednesford.

How did you get involved with racing? My dad helped Aubrey Leighton (F1 no. 42) in the 60's, have been watching stockcars at Brafield since I was 5.

Greatest influence: My dad, Robert, who sadly passed away before I started racing. Roy Slocombe for all his help.

Ambitions: At the start of this season it was to get a point or two, but now I have achieved that a race win would be good.

Best thing about F2: The friends I have made in the short time I have been racing.

Worst thing about F2: Blowing my engine in practice in 2004.

Best moment in the sport? First meeting, to be out there after watching for so long, getting my first points at Mallory, getting my first trophy at Hednesford.

Worst moment in the sport? Ripping the front end off of the car at the first Northampton in March only to repair it and then blow my engine in practice at the next meeting.

Details of current car: Roy Slocombe (513) / Dunford built car. Newer, sister car of my first car, that has been completley repanneled and re-nerfed & bumpered over the winter of 2005. Running with a Lyndale engine & 4 speed box.  On board front shocks.

Keith started his F2 career in September 2003 at the Friday Night Nitro meeting at Northampton.  He purcashed the Roy Slocombe (513), Dunford et al built car in August 2003.  Keith only made 3 appearances towards the end of the 2003 season, all of them at Northampton.

In 2004 Keith travelled away from Northampton for the first ever time with visits to Mallory Park, Skegness, Hednesford and Birmingham.  This was a good first full season for Keith, and he managed to score 15 points, and nearly managed to make yellow in the early months of the season.

The 2005 season started off at Northampton again, with Keith managing a number of meetings in a short space of time, before engine problems on the teams first visit of the season to Skegness haulted the seasons plans. It was almost 2 months before Keith was back on track, where he was be-set by further problems at Arena Essex.  Keith was back out again shortly after though, and managed to rack up 14 appearances during the season, scoring a career high 4th place at Hednesford, as well collecting a first trophy, winning the grade award at that same meeting.

For the 2006 season Keith sold his first car, and acquired another Slocombe/Dunford car which was largely rebuilt over the winter of 2005/6, complete with a new Lyndale engine.  The new car was given new bumpers and nerf rails and new body panels.  It also saw a change of colours and sports a silver, red and black colour scheme.

This car remains in place for 2007 and was again rebumpered and repaired the for new season.  It also features some new graphics supporting Wootton Tyre & Exhaust as a thank you to Gary.
