 Felicity Kates

Blessed with a mother who loved to read such books as the Chronicles of Narnia and The Wind in the Willows to her children, Felicity Kates has always been in love with stories. Bitten by the art bug at a young age she turned her imagination to visual storytelling. After spending over ten years in the Animation industry working on children’s cartoons such as Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Little Bear, and Rescue Heroes, she now concentrates on creating futuristic worlds full of romance and intrigue. Whether there about androids carrying deadly secrets, or haunted houses with dimensional problems, her stories always make sure a handsome hero's there to save the day--with the help of a feisty heroine, of course.

Felicity lives near Toronto, Canada, with her husband, son, and two spoiled old cats, Jiggeratta the Wicked and Fluffernutter, who she calls “her girls”.

 Kimberly Brody

When I was 11 years old, I snuck downstairs and took a book off my mother’s bookshelf to read in secret. It was The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, and from that moment on I was hooked on historical romance. I knew then I wanted to write romance novels, but alas, my attempts at writing in my teenage years were quite abysmal. As I grew older, history became my passion. I received my undergraduate degree in history, with a specialty in almost every era of British history. In law school, I had the experience of a lifetime when I enrolled in a study abroad program in London for one semester. I began writing my first serious manuscript while waiting for the results of the bar exam, and from that moment on I was hooked.  In my writing I strive for passion and history to leap from the pages as my tale unfolds. The road to happily ever after is never easy for my characters, but they always get there in the end.

I live in Melbourne, Florida, with five awesome cats and Ian, my husband. You can drop me an email any time with questions or comments at Kimberly_Brody@Yahoo.com.

 Autumn Piper

I write contemporary romance and women's fiction/mom-lit. My stories often have a high heat index to match their American southwest settings. Known by my writing buddies as "Angst", I have a penchant for making my characters suffer.  My stories may be tributes to the old saying, "No pain, no gain", but my Hero and Heroine always get the happily every after they so deserve.

I love sunny spring days, hot bread, the smell of the ocean, and that fluttery feeling I get inside at the first spark of a great romance story. In my "spare" time between being a wife, mom of two, and writer, I like to read, take morning walks, make people laugh (this probably happens when I break into a jog!), garden, and conquer the beast that is Sudoku.

For me, an excellent book has characters you can sympathize with or hate (sometimes both at once), a story you simply must see through to the end, and realistic dialogue. I'm an equal opportunity reader (EOR?) - give me those key elements, and I'll read any genre or time period, any author.

 Mary Reilly

Mary Reilly has always had a love of words and the romance found in a good tale.  She credits her mother and grandmother with fostering the need to open a book and "see what happens next.” Growing up on the coast of Maine in a large family, there was always scope for imagination and something to write about.  In college, Mary thought she wanted to be a veterinarian, but the lure of words and a love of history were too great.  She was an English major, with minors in Latin and Medieval History.  Mary has been writing seriously for two years, possessed by the need to see Angus Mor fully formed in black and white. He invaded her thoughts while she was gardening, one of her great loves. The stubborn man should be happy now, leaving her alone to write the other stories churning in her head.

Mary lives in north central Maine with her best friend and true hero, her husband, her amazing sons, a good dog, and an ancient, dignified cat who calls the good dog bad names.
